I know It helps pay for the website and that stuff, but as for my benefit Is it worth it? like what do you get for upgrading.

You get to customize your name colors, deckcycle 3 times, see how many points you have, and yeah, you get to keep the site running so you can come back to it lol.

Also, you get to vouch for users and be vouched ( I believe )

Honestly I did it because I like the site, it's cheap and I get a shiny name.

Short answer: yes.

Long answer: yes because it gives you more options.

  • You can deckcycle three times per day, which means you have a much greater chance of getting views, ratings, and feedback.
  • You can customize your username so you stand out around the site. Name recognition helps.
  • You can vouch for other users after trading with them.
  • You get some feature tokens.
  • You help support the site.

What are the points?

Points are basically what determines your rank on the site.

They're like pieces of china- pretty to look at but not much use other than decoration.

@GoldGhost012: I really like that analogy. Lol.

After over 2 years of being on the site I have yet to actually find the need to upgrade (and I usually am on the site for a good 7-12 hours a day). The only features of the site that are actually blocked off from not upgrading (that isn't simply a visual change) is the ability to aid the site in putting up new cards into the databank.

The only real reason I find to upgrade would be if one was buying a t-shirt.

Whatever happen to upgrading to support the site its not all about your benefit... the benefit is merely bonus to me :P.

Hey, you could enter MrKnify's challenge for an account upgrade.

Oh, and I upgraded after breaking the top 100. I've found it to be useful even though I don't deckcycle at all.... ever. Maybe I'll run a challenge for feature tokens at somepoint though.

It's indeed handy to be able to deck cycle a couple more times a day. Plus look at my badass name!

Never regretted upgrading.

I feel like for $5 (a little more than a pack of magic cards), it's definitely worth it. Having a more recognizable title around the community and being able to cycle three times a day is fantastic. Plus, it made me feel good for supporting a site that I enjoy and use so much. :D

once ive been around longer i plan on upgrading (and get paid again) to support the site, but also when im looking for cards the unqie names and colors people have get checked first, its basically a little green flag they support the site, have probably been around a decent amount of time, and have probably done some trading already, versus myself who hasnt on this site

Im saying upgrading is totally worth it, the only reason i havent yet is because I get paid thursday, go to the game store friday, and am nearly broke once I leave.

I ended up upgrading mostly to support the site, but I could use some help with my username thingy over here:
