Kaladesh cards in Standard

There have been only 30+ cards spoiled so far in the Kaladesh set, but already I'm seeing decks using these cards in Standard decks here at TappedOut. I'm seeing Kaladesh cards mixed with other Standard cards which rotate at the end of this month. It's confusing and sloppy.

I understand the excitement of seeing new cards and wanting to brew and make decks with them, but I think it would be best for the site if you hold off letting people use cards in Standard until the full set is spoiled. When all 264 of Kaladesh cards have been revealed then release the use of them to be included in Standard decks.

Nah, the current way is better, people can make decks how they please both before and after a set is released. It makes testing easier and in all honesty its just fun to see all these new decks popping up.

@yeaGO: Might be interesting if you could select "Standard" as the format and be given an additional dropdown to select the season (e.g., DTK-EMN). This might be used to adjust search results and limit the out-of-season decks that appear in search results and similar decks lists.

To go with the what Epoch said above, could we get a thing that changes a deck's format to out of date standard or (as stated above), certain sessions of Standard when Standard rotates?

They're not standard legal decks yet. They should all have an asterisk. I think adding the block is a good idea but also tough to implement everywhere cleanly.

Let the people brew, does it really hurt your experience that badly?

@McSleuthburger: I don't think anyone is saying that people shouldn't be allowed to brew. But more organization wouldn't hurt things. If anything, it'd be better if we could sort Standard decks by season; it'd help keep old Standard decks from showing up in searches for the current season and diluting the results.

Old standard shouldn't show up in searches currently

Epochalyptik, yeaGO, being able to sort by Standard seasons is a good idea. Implementing this for creating Standard decks would also organize new Standard decks although this might be more difficult to achieve.
