Why are the Kaldheim common snow duals (e.g. Rimewood Falls ) marked as Banned in Pauper and Pauper EDH?

Oh, that's because their rarity isn't common, but basic land, so they get auto-banned from pauper.

Femme_Fatale, thank you for clarifying. I was going to submit a Card Fix, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some weird technicality first.

Just a heads-up in case this was marked as fixed, Volatile Fjord is still showing up as illegal in Pauper despite the card type being "Snow Land" (not "Basic Land") in the card fix dialog.

The fix to make select cards legal in pauper has not been done yet. Manually fixing cards won't work as pauper legally is done via algorithm.

johnjust: The type line does not denote the card rarity, but rather the card info box at the bottom denotes the rarity. Since the rarity letter is "L" that means the card is basic land rarity.

Femme_Fatale could lands/cards with "L" in their rarity be added to the pauper algorithm?

meecht: Definitely not as there are a fair number of things that I've plopped into the basic land rarity for products that don't follow the traditional pack structure or don't have a completely different rarity than the standard ones tappedout can apply ... which is a lot these days.

I discussed with the devs a while back of a feature that would work with this, don't know how easily it would be for them to implement considering it isn't implemented yet.
