how well does tapped out work on a kindle fire?

It's just a website so it works fine. You get what you pay for though. Although it has nice specs, the Fire is quite slow and sluggish.

I am a bit interested in seeing the Amazon Silk browser for my Moto Droid 1 Phone, and/or my iPad though lol

It'll be great if you keep in mind the $200 price tag. If you're expecting it to compete with the iPad and other modern tablets you'll be disappointed.

I myself would much rather have a Kindle Touch (3g, $150) than any other tablet. Approx 30 hour battery life without wifi turned on. That's for my distinct tastes though. I don't need a tablet for apps. I'd use it for books, internet surfing... annnnddd nothing else.

Even still. The Kindle Fire is a great value. You just have to remember that it is a $200 product.

People keep telling me it's slow and sluggish, but if you get into the habit of actually closing apps when you're done with them (in comparison to just going to the homepage and leaving them running) it runs really good actually, and with a good wifi connection it's nothing short of enjoyable to use. (I bought one about two weeks ago and love it)

As for tapped out. the website is perfectly fine on the fire, the zoom feature makes individual cards easy to read without navigating other pages, but the "playtest" feature is another story. While the playtest feature (which I think is still not working properly from the site) would be amazing to work on this, I think the screen is just a bit too small to play it properly, unless you like turning the screen back and forth repeatedly. (I know this response is late but it needed to be said.)

I'm also postin' with a fire and for me there is no speed lag. The only bad thing with the web is that it cant load 2 tabs at once. Other than that, i love it!
