How many Lesbian/Gay/Bisexual/Transgender/Queer users do we have on TappedOut? It would be fun for us to all get to know each other. Comment here or add me as a friend if you want to network with other like-minded players.

Yeah! I'm a trans woman who is also one of my (magic) community's go-to people for deck building advice.

Most of my playgroup is queer, but we were friends or acquaintances before playing and/or realizing that the others played magic.

Unfortunately I've been through some amount of adverse treatment at LGSs, enough to make me not want to attend FNM anymore, but I have a good group of folks outside the shop scene to play with

Thanks for commenting! I've noticed that we seem to have other community members and allies on here, so I'm glad we can get to know one another.

I'm straight, but I am lucky enough to be surrounded by fabulous people constantly. That's what happens when your best friend is a hair stylist by day and a Boylesque dancer by night.

LeaPlath That's how negative stereotypes begin! Nobody wants to be friends with a dirty, filthy, rotten "combo player." Parades are fine, storm counts are mean.

When I first started seeing "LGS" I got it confused with "LGBT." That being said, I do like WOTC's recent nod to the Queer community with cards such as the bloodfetished Rakish Heir and Guardians of Meletis .

Wow! I'm glad to see we have our own little tribe on here. Many gaming communities can be a little insular and, let's face it, lacking enlightenment in certain areas.

Transgender lady with a constantly evolving/flowing/fluid/IWillFuckPeopleWhoI'mInterestedInFucking sexuality.

I've been playing since Time Spiral, though not at the same LGS. It's a pretty great group of players at my LGS. They're all nice, open, and cool people.

I play everything except midrange, because midrange requires Goyfs and Walletseizes, and I'm a filthy peasant. Glad to meet you all!

It's a pleasure to meet you all! It is awesome to see there's a lot more diversity here than I realized! I play control constantly, as well as combo. My idea of fun is making infinite mana on turn 3 and stealing all of your permanents forever in Edh, with memnarch, of course :3

I am something of a Vorthos player. I love the cards, the art, the flavor, the process of deck construction. I have some more aggressive decks, but my favorites are the ones that have a wide variety of cards and fun synergies. They may not win (though they often do), but the most important thing is that are fun to play with. I play mostly casual Legacy games, in my apartment. I played for a brief while when the 1999 Starter Pack came out, then stopped for a long time, and just started up again recently.

So. What are people into besides magic?

I'm a big card game player, and I dabble in L5R and YuGiOh. I like to do some writing and role playing games but time is limited at the moment. I work with people with additional needs, which has its ups and downs. My dream is to travel the world and see some of the great cities of the world (Tokyo, New York, Prague and Rio for sure). I'm a fan of lots of diffrent music but my recent big thing has been electroswing music. I like reading, mainly urban fantasy books. Not a big PC gamer, due to lack of PC.

I also like cuddles and head scritches. Those are gooooooood.

I'm actually a graduate student at the moment, working on my M.Ed in teaching ESL. I just moved back to the U.S. last spring after living in Mexico for four years. I grew up on computer games. Magic is the only card game I play now, but I played Pokemon as a teenager. I really like the Sid Meier's Civilization series, some of the SimCity games, and others. I still fire up Baldur's Gate now and then.

I used to play Yugioh myself a lot, but I fell out of it as soon as I discovered magic. I'm currently running 3 businesses, 1 of which is mine, 2 I'm a co owner of. I love film immensely and deeply. I also want to get in to writing, but I kind of suck. I play numerous games on steam, especially TF2. I also play fighting games semi competitively. I want to make it to the pro tour one day! I love D&D, CIvilization, Settlers of Catan and quite a few other weird games. But much more a PC gamer than anything else.

LeaPlath, I too am into cuddles and head scratches. Besides that, I'm a big fan of RPGs, poetry, and writing. I'm currently working on a campaign setting bible. (I have about 60 pages of it written so far, but it's for my eyes only at the moment.) I listen to music like most people breathe. I generally have music playing at all times except when I start the car. There's then about six seconds of dead air.

Gay as fuck dude here, just playing that Cardboard Crack as it comes along. I play any color as long as I can abuse and use a color that uses a mechanic I enjoy. Sorry if this is a double post on my end, but I'm still new to TappedOut's UI.

More than happy to befriend any other queerfolk! I have only one deck on my account (one I'm hoping to take to Star City Games' State Championship next Sunday/weekend), but I'll be adding more, sometime soon.
