What kind of code can be used in deck descriptions?

Is it limited to HTML/CSS or can we use Javascript and script tags?

yeaGO if you could help that would be great.

I'm pretty sure you can use all of them. I believe I have a little bit of each on all my decks.

lordoftheshadowsbeware, you cannot use the { and } symbols, therefore you must usually import scripts and css files.

Don't use scripts. And if you break anything, remain still and await the proper authorities.

Epochalyptik Are you going to remove the support for scripts or what?

I don't know, but I can remove the support for your account if your script becomes a problem.

I'm all for user freedom, but some things present vulnerabilities and issues I'd rather not deal with.

Scripts are fine but if you do anything malicious obviously you're canned. :)

If you see doing something with scripts that you're not sure is allowed, just ask!

I'm trying to come up with a script registry where people can use them safely. I currently haven't noticed any malicious scripts.

yeaGO I can assure I have been very careful with scripts and so, after I accidentally crashed my user page some days ago(although that wasn't a script).

yeaGO And yes it's very irritating that the brackets symbols doesn't work. And in most cases you use CSS when pimping your deck descriptions.

We really should create a whitelist for allowed tags and scripts. For example, auto play should always be disabled for any embedded media. If we have a way to limit font size, that would also be nice. I manually edited two user's names to reset their outrageous font-size attributes.

I did make it so font sizes don't carry over to decks around the site, so in that way I care way less about font size since it can no longer be used to get your deck extra attention.

I think if anyone has any autoplaying media its probably worth warning them to change it, except I guess in rare cases.

Well, I did have to change a user's name sizing so that it no longer occupied two thread rows on the home page. That's a little unreasonable.

The other change was to a user who had animated his/her name to have a moving background that blinked in random spots across any page it was on.
