Old Stuff That is no Longer Relevant Show

This here is an ongoing list of currently known bugs and feature requests. They are in a descending order of what I presume to be most important to least important. The dates at the end of a report is the date it was added to this list, and for the change log, the dates at the start of a report is when I removed it from this list. If you find or experience a bug that isn't on this list, make an alternate thread about it to as that will automatically notify yeago since he is subscribed to the T/O forum.

EDIT:

Work has sort of caught me in a loop. I don't really have the time inbetween work days to manage this list on a day-to-day basis. So it'll be updated once a week, so please keep that in mind when looking at the dates of things past Nov 17. (End-Edit.)

As for feature requests, do make another thread about those if you suggest them. I'm subscribed to this forum and will see those discussions myself. This will just be a link to those threads with the link name being a short description of that feature request. Also to note, if the community doesn't feel a feature request is worth using for this site, it won't be put on here.

Please note that the dates or the current location of bugs/feature requests are only as I find them. Certain bugs may have been fixed a week ago, and new features may be implemented a while back too, so if you find anything that isn't on this list or in the wrong location because it is fixed or implemented, do let me know.

Don't forget to look at the actual changelog. This is where yeago updates the changes he's made, when he is up to it. Anything that is in the changelog will not appear on here.

Things detailing about incorrect card information should go to the missing/incorrect card/token thread. The exceptions to this are the various issues in which a simple card fix or add can not be done, and I will generally be able to determine whether it is a full on bug or not when you post it there.

Final thing is, don't post here about major bugs. Things like deck-cycling not being refreshed, playtester down, getting thopters on the main page ... things that apply to practically all the users at any given time needs a new thread to be made to notify yeago of them. That and they generally get fixed fast enough to not warrant putting on here.

Known Bugs Show

• Commander cards will not show the back side for transform cards. (Apr 11)
• P/T in playtester v2.0 behaves oddly when counters are combined with transforming a card. (Apr 8)
• Tokens and emblems in playtester v2.0 glitch out when put into the hand. (Apr 7)
• Cannot flip cards in playtester v2.0. (Mar 26)
• The Draw Hand feature on deck lists will occasionally (or always for those with bad internet) show the same hand as the previous one. Also, library is obscured by bottom info bar. (Mar 1)
• Strip Mine is taking the price data from Air Elemental. (Dec 30)
• Windbrisk Heights is taking the price data from Woolly Loxodon. (Feb 7)
• Dual cards like Wear / Tear need to show their prices. (Jan 21)
• +/- buttons on deck lists don't work when sorting the deck by price. (Mar 20)
• Commander doesn't factor itself into the price of an EDH/Tiny Leaders/Duel Commander deck list. (Jan 30)
• Clicking on the enchantment section in the wheel on deck lists doesn't show legendary enchantments nor world enchantments. (Jan 28)
• A card's rarity is not always followed in cube or in deck lists. This is a case-by-case situation. (Oct 6)
• Dark Ascension cards are showing up in "The Dark" set even though those cards aren't actually stating that they were printed in that set. (Nov 29)
• The +/- buttons on deck pages will appear on the part of the page you reload at. (Dec 20)
• User stats always say that they have done 0 drafts. (Oct 11)
• The deck counter for completed decks also shows a total of all decks, including prototype ones when before they just showed non-prototype ones. (Nov 29)
• Basic lands need to be removed from V14 and V13. (Oct 8)
• Island and Forest need to be removed from DDK. (Oct 8)
• Mountain and Plains need to be removed from DDM. (Oct 8)

Feature Requests Show

• Reorganize the forums to be more user friendly. Currently the list is way too long and everything is all over the place. (Oct 5)
• Implement a custom gear section in the community area. (Jan 24)
• Implement a report function for card submissions so a few select users can fix any errors instead of having any upgraded user being able to change the cards at will. (Dec 10)
• Show individual card prices and total price of all cards while trading. Prevents some of the need to confirm prices totals with people through lengthy comments. (Nov 8)
• Implement an upvote feature for comments and threads that results in points earned. It wouldn't be named upvote, but instead "Was this helpful?" and say "Thank you!" when clicked. (Nov 13)
• Along with the above, give a "was this funny?" and say "That's a riot!" when clicked. (Nov 13)
• Remove the requirement for users to be in the top 100 (or 400) in order to change title. Instead, make it a threshold, or a goal the user has to cross. Like 5,000 points. (Nov 13)
• With the feature request above, give sort of milestone titles achieved after getting a certain number of points. This will replace deckling. (Nov 13)
• Ability to upvote users. (Nov 13)
• Be able to block a deck like you can block users. (Dec 4)
• Have someone have the privs to be able to perform quality control on the alters database. (Dec 5)
• Implement a report function for alters so a few select users can do quality control on them. (Dec 10)
• Require that all alter submission have a non image url in the source so that people stop putting down just "google". (Dec 5)
• Implement a "how many users are online" either on the homepage or the community page.
• Have the innate T/O markdown coding be allowed to be viewed on mobile. (Feb 27)
• Separate the prices of the sideboard, lands and the cards of the rest of the deck when looking at the checkout function. (Feb 2)
• Shorten the "Completed Trades" list by only showing the top 12 most recent OR grouping in trades with the same person under a spoiler. (Feb 12)
• Export deck lists from MTGO, import deck lists into tappedout. (Jan 20)
• Allow users to view their decklists on the T/O App. (Jan 20)
• Allow users to purchase an account upgrade on the T/O App. (Dec 9)
• Implement private chat notifications for the T/O App. (Nov 8)
• Implement the ability to custom change a card's mana cost when inputting it in deck builder or cube. 3x Lingering Souls {} or 4x Breaking / Entering {} are just some examples of how this would look like. (Oct 5)
• Implement a shortcut button to swap cards between mainboard and maybeboard on deck lists main page. (Jan 22)
• When using the search function, have the ability to change the order of which forum posts pop-up. (Jan 28)
• See recent inventory changes. (Jan 28)
• Ability to put tokens in a decklist, for horde magic specifically. (Nov 18)
• The ability to choose the token printings that are generated by your deck. (Nov 14)
• The "need help tag" should have a pop-up dictating if you want to swap which deck has the tag on it instead of having to dig through your decks to see which one has the tag to remove it from that deck. (Oct 21)
• Organize the card suggestion when making suggestions on decks to only show each individual card once. As it stands, if I link a card name 3 times, it will show up three times in the suggestions check box. (Oct 10)
• Remove the "Flashback Cost" category in the card submission form. (Nov 7)
• Swap the "Number" and "Artist" categories when submitting cards to coincide with how they are ordered on the card. (Nov 7)
• Have the ability to load more comments on a card page. (Oct 14)
• Implement the ability to manually alter a card's rarity in cube. (Oct 10)
• Implement the ability to determine how many pre-set lands (or basic lands) are generated in a pack for cube. (Oct 12)
• Implement +/- buttons on the main page for cube. (Oct 8)
• Implement the graphs and charts that appear on decks onto cubes. (Oct 13)
• Ability to set a designated category option (like custom categories) for cube. (Oct 8)
• Cube cycling/more advertisement options for cubes. (Oct 9)
• Option to mark a card as signed, similar to how language and foil are marked. (Oct 5)
• Alters for Tokens. (Oct 5)
• Check and add in all available alters for a deck. Very useful for altering an EDH deck. (Oct 5)

• P/T Box and Level up symbol suggestions. (Oct 5)

Change Log and Patch Notes Show

• May 16: Alternative printings for cards are now accepted. Finally, all those other basic lands can be added! (Dec 9)
• May 13: New tabs to look at decks on the front page have been added.
• May 13: Articles now have a view counter on them.
• May 12: Can no longer post in the trade forum without a binder.
• May 12: Clearing out comments on deck can now be done through an archiving method on the deck edit page.
• May 11: Cube Sample Pack and Sealed Generator are now properly following the set rarity options for cube. (Oct 5)
• May 11: Cube's rarity options no longer resets itself each time when you go to edit them. (Oct 5)
• May 11: All transform card issues should be fixed.
• May 11: Foil trait now properly portrays itself on the backside.
• Apr 19: Deck Updates now only show the most recent update in order to speed up loading times.

• Mar 22: You can now change the text of a card with markdown syntax. (Mar 4)
• Mar 16: Tiny Leaders format checking added.
• Mar 3: Brainstorm's legality is now properly checked. (Jan 24)
• Mar 2: Cards in supplementary products no longer show "Not Legal in any Format" on their card page. (Oct 6)
• Mar 2: Users can access their lists now. (Feb 29)
• Mar 1: DDP, DDQ and EMA now have proper dates and TLA's. (Oct 5)
• Mar 1: Decks page underwent a minor update. The right side displaying the deck's information such as mana curve is smaller.
• Feb 24: There is now an edit button in the folder icon for decks and cubes.
• Feb 15: Max inventory size is now 10k.
• Feb 6: Cards from 2012 now show their prices properly. (Nov 18)
• Jan 31: The site can now properly dictate the location of a missed double bracket when using markdown syntax to link stuff in a deck list description.
• Jan 28: Cards now automatically apply legality to them. No more spending 15-40 hours a set to manually implement them (yay). (Jan 2)
• Jan 26: Set pages now properly order the cards by alphabet. (Nov 3)
• Jan 21: Card images no longer get cut off by spoilers that are inside accordions. (Oct 17)
• Jan 21: Deck Timeline graphs on deck pages now properly portray the deck's price. (Oct 5)
• Jan 21: Dragging the comment box larger no longer makes it disappear underneath wells. (Oct 5)
• Jan 21: The string of characters Q&A no longer creates a semi-colon after it when inputting it in comments. (Oct 5)
• Jan 21: Page seven of the alters database no longer gives Ornithopters. (Dec 5)
• Jan 20: A "spinning colourless wheel" with the word "regenerating" on it now appears in place of a transparent mana circle on deck advertisements to dictate that that deck's graphs are being regenerated.
• Jan 20: The user icon (little top half of a person) is now yellow, with the drop down menu for it displaying "upgrade" in yellow text.
• Jan 20: Community Page has been added.
• Jan 20: Twitch streaming links have been added to the Community Page. Settings for this have also been implemented.
• Jan 16: FoW section of the site added. (Jan 8)
• Jan 15: EXP has been fully added.
• Jan 14: The Hearthstone button has been removed and placed in the info bar at the bottom.
• Jan 11: OGW has been fully added.
• Jan 6: Brand new cards never before added to the database will properly show up in spoiler pages or set pages if they were added for the the first time. (Nov 3, Could only tell when OGW was spoiled.)
• Jan 2: Card pages now display a "Trend" stat, which is a form of percentage of how much a card has increased or decreased in price.

2015 Show

• Dec 29: was implemented.
• Dec 24: A rank designated by how much you "help" was implemented.
• Dec 21: A warning about implementing coding to abuse the upvote system was put into the deck edit page underneath the description.
• Dec 20: A embed youtube video button has been added to the button header above the description box while making a new deck.
• Dec 20: Code, be it markdown or html, now properly displays in the card rules text. (Dec 8)
• Dec 15: Duel Commander has its legality system fixed. (Dec 14)
• Dec 13: A button to the Hearthstone version of this site has been implemented.
• Dec 9: Other users looking at your alter database no longer force your folder to show their decks. (Nov 26)
• Dec 3: Some of the points for users have returned.
• Dec 3: Mobile users are now entirely custom CSS free.
• Dec 3: The scroll box html code now properly works in the update sections on deck pages. (Oct 29)
• Dec 3: Deck Timeline displays prices that are closer to the original price, but are still not the same price.
• Dec 3: Cube Sealed Generator "create deck" function now properly creates a deck with the cards that were generated by the sealed generator. (Oct 10)
• Dec 3: The tokens of the commander have been fixed for both playtesters. (Nov 11)
• Nov 17 - Dec 2: Work caught me in a loop that didn't really leave me time to manage this list, so anything between November 17th till December third isn't entirely accurate for the date.
• Nov 16: Similar decks have now been implemented.
• Nov 16: The little oval on large deck displays dictating X/Y where X was the score and Y was the views, was removed. Too many people had no idea what it was.
• Nov 16: The pop-up box for the symbols on the comments bar has been fixed. Image of the old issue. (Oct 15)
• Nov 11: The foil and language symbols and overlays were fixed. (Oct 29)
• Nov 11: Urza's Factory's comment stream now actually shows comments. (Oct 18)
• Nov 11: Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas's card page no longer says that this card was printed in BFZ. (Nov 7)
• Nov 11: Tokens of a commander now appear in Playtester V1. (Oct 30)
• Nov 11: BFZ cards and C15 cards "missing 'trade' option" now properly shows on their individual card pages. If it is missing, it'll appear when binders and inventories are re-populated with the card. (Oct 5 / Nov 8)
• Nov 11: The set spoiler page no longer logs people out. (Nov 3)
• Nov 10: The site underwent a pretty massive information wipe by accident. A lot of things are affected like top draft picks, recent comments, comment stream, notifications, user points and all that jazz. Much of it isn't really an issue, except the notifications.
• Nov 10: All the C15 cards and tokens were successfully uploaded.
• Nov 7: Kalemne, Disciple of Iroas and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest were removed from BFZ. (Nov 3)
• Nov 5: Alters show in Playtester V2 for the very first time.
• Nov 5: Playtester V2 now allows you to sideboard in games 2 and 3.
• Nov 3: As a result, tokens can be classified as "fixed". (Oct 25)
• Nov 3: Playtester V2 was added as an option in tangent with the original.
• Nov 2: C15 was added to the set database.
• Oct 29: A lot of fixes and new features were added to the new playtester. (Oct 29)
• Oct 29: Corrupted Harvester no longer gives ornithopters when linked. (Oct 22)
• Oct 27: The cards in the set pages have been fixed to properly show. (Oct 22)
• Oct 26: The edit function for comments has been fixed. (Oct 21)
• Oct 25: Tokens in playtesting, as a result, are broken again.
• Oct 25: The new playtester that had temporarily replaced the old one is now gone, and the old one is back. (Oct 21)
• Oct 22: The username in "username commented on ..." in the notifications drop down menu now links to the user properly. (Oct 21)
• Oct 21: With the release of the new playtester, tokens now work. (Oct 5)
• Oct 21: Playtester V 2.0 that was in beta testing became available to the common public. This replaced the original playtester.
• Oct 17: Steam friends feature has been implemented. This will be most noticeable if you are following/being followed by lots of people.
• Oct 17: Suggestions function for decks is fixed. (Oct 9)
• Oct 17: Comment redirection in threads when making a comment or opening a thread is fixed (Oct 5)
• Oct 12: Card pages no longer gives ornithopters. (Oct 9)
• Oct 12: Duplicate/mispelt subtypes, Kor Soldier Ally, Angel Ally and Vampire Shamen are removed from the database. (Oct 5)
• Oct 5: Deck Timeline to show progression of a deck's price is implemented.

Flip cards normally show the reverse side when you hover over the "flip" text, example Hanweir Militia Captain  ^Flip Reckless Waif  ^Flip

Meld cards used to do this too, when you hovered over the "meld" text. However, this functionality now appears to be broken, example Gisela, the Broken Blade  ^Meld Hanweir Garrison  ^Meld

Some decks won't sync with inventory

I have enabled sync with inventory for most of my decks, but only a few of those decks are actually showing up in my inventory. I've confirmed that the option is enabled for the decks I'm not seeing, and it has been more than a week since I've made the change.

There are three cards from Dominaria United that, despite being in the card database, do not seem to be recognized when you put them in decks. The three cards are Coalition Skyknight, Djinn of the Fountain, and Nemata, Primeval Warden.

I'm not sure how the tapped-out website determines which cards are "competitive" vs "Casual". But it would be nice if there was a way that when you have the competitive meter shown, you can click on it and it would highlight which cards are considered competitive (Just like when you click on the cmc cost graph it shows which cards have that cmc)

It's also frustrating when you have a 60/40 split (competitive/casual), you change 2 cards and now its 46/54. Thats not mathematically possible

Flood and Burn Affinity is listed as being Vintage legal despite running four copies of Ancestral Recall, which is restricted in the format.

Is there a way to exclude recently released sets without having to enter individual sets onto cards? This ends up being a massive problem for calculating TCGMarket price when newer printings are released and unpriced.

Cerodon Yearling's image does not appear to exist anymore, in the playtester, thumbnail, or on the card's page.

Hearthfire Hobgoblin is also weirdly cropped and Battlegate Mimic has missing art as well.

Squatcher: We do this already, a back-end feature that you don't see called "skip as latest". It can only be done on reprint only sets however, as it breaks any new cards that are in a set.

A more specific user-facing one could be considered though, there's just a lot of stuff to do atm.

When setting the format to "Pauper" in the deck search, "Pauper EDH" decks are included in the results. In my opinion this is rather annoying since they are different formats and pauper edh has its own category one can filter for.

The type breakdown on the deck screen misses dual typed cards. Artifact creatures are only counted as artifact creatures and so on

Delphen7: This is the intended effect. You play artifact creatures as primarily creatures first. If we took into account all the types it would get really messy really quick. The only really rough part of this would be artifact enchantments, but luckily they are rare.

As for attractions and stickers in deck and playtester, they are being worked on, GoldenSandslash15/BlazinJsin.

I would kill for there to be an option to append cmc value symbols and/or prices to the card name entries. I love everything about tappedout except for when I set my second sort to card cost and have to hover each and every one to see what they are reading.

I would like a REWIND feature please in the playtester which keeps a copy of the current page variables every time the Next Turn button is clicked (within reason of course). This would allow users to focus on how to proceed from specific gamestates and be a uniquely digital way to counteract the lower information quality of goldfishing. It would be up to them whether to shuffle or not.

Hi, I was wondering if there could be a way to display the back side of a double sided CMDR, similar to the way we are able to display a companion in the side board with the code, CMPN. If we could add the back side of a card to the side board with a similar code?

When using MDFC lands in a deck, the back side is not counted towards the lands in the color pie chart on the right. This makes sense for cards that are only a land on the back, but for the ones that are lands on both sides, only the front side is counted. It makes it look like your base is slightly off unless you use a perfectly balanced number of them.

This might be an intentional feature, but I suspect that it's not, since the "Flip" text still gets highlighted when clicking the corresponding pie slice.

My acquire board tab when creating new decks is gone. I only see main board, side board, maybe board, and tokens. The only time I see the acquire board tab present in the deck editor is when I edit a deck in which I already input cards into the acquire board tab for.

I don't want to do the whole "need: 1" thing because the card still shows up on my main board and throws off all my stats for the deck. Where did the dedicated acquire board tab go?

In Chrome (newest version afaik): I have two tabs open, two different decks, playtester V1. When I refresh one tab, it refreshes the other as well. I cannot for the life of me imagine why this is happening.

Having an issue with deck edit. I have a list of 438 cards. I see them in edit deck and after I save. However I CANNOT see them in live edit. I tried copying the list and creating a new deck, I tried removing the "1x" in edit and saving, I tried moving them to side/maybe and deleting website data. I can't make them appear in live edit.

I can't seem to load all the decks in deck folders with more than 40 decks, I hit the 40th deck in the folder and it won't load anymore. Just gets stuck on "Loading..."

live edit has an error when grouping by type and stacking cards by cmc where some cover the others even when you would have noused over the ones beneath them.

Saheeli, Sublime Artificer seems to get flagged when creating Pioneer decks but last I checked the card is Pioneer legal so I'm not sure what is going on there.

I recently noticed that the Cards Suggested portion of my profile hasn't updated in a while. I've definitely suggested about 5 cards today alone, and even more in the past couple days.

I found two display issues:

Dire Mimic is incorrectly listed as a creature when viewing decks.

None of the artworks for Foresee can be displayed when hovering over the card name.

Angel_Of_Flames: Intended result, as the list of three card combos is already really large. Typically in any deckbuilding, combos above 3 are rarely ever considered and are more of a "these cards synergize together coincidentally" or "it'll be a very rare moon if I ever go infinite with these, but that's not why they are here".

It also helps to maintain the backend a bit more, even if 3 card combo list is already a monumentous task in itself.

I may have found a bug in panels and spoilers. One of my decklists uses many of these but when posted the end of the panel or spoiler ends up not where it was typed in, usually after the first paragraph.
