Hey guys,

So just now, I clickity clicked up on that home page button up top, and was given a popup window that chrome identified as potentially malicious. Not sure if it's on the part of a particular user, some clever attacker, or if I'm just bad at the internet, but I thought you ought to know. Didn't check it out, but was given a warning of potentially...bad... material that was available for download or whatever.

I had this happen to me too, but I'm on a Mac, so I figured fuck it and went to the link. It was one of those spam "watch this movie" things. Probably related to the spam issues we had a couple weeks ago.

The only time I've ever experienced on-click ads here is when my computer was infected with browser adware/spyware.

My solution is to look through your list of programs/apps and delete anything that isn't immediately recognized by you as something you've downloaded or something important, such as anything with a Microsoft/Apple license. Then go into your browsers plug-ins/extensions/toolbars (depending on what browser you're using) and check for anything out of the ordinary (Exstrasavings, PCPnAPP, etc). If these do exist on your system, delete them.

I would like to add however, that some of the ads across the site in the past were malicious, but I have only seen relevant, safe ads as of late

This also happened to me. It seems to only do it in t/o... It's some add site. Something along the lines of: youraddexchange.com.... Wil screenshot it the next time.
