Mana ratio graph not displaying correct information.

TappedOut forum

I just noticed the pie chart that displays your mana ratio breakdown by color doesn't actually count the mana symbols on spells correctly. It doesn't count multiple instances of the same color mana symbol appearing in a card's casting cost. So is counted the same as , which is obviously a huge difference when trying to set up your manabase correctly. Can this be corrected please? I feel like this is one of the best features of the site if it is working the way it should.

Pics? Or deck?

Look at my deck for example Back in Black.

It says I have 38 black symbols, but I already counted the devotion only (not even including instants/sorceries) and the count was higher than 50...

Sometimes that happens if you recently updated the deck.

You should have exactly 50 devotion if all your permanents are on the field (not including maybeboard) by my count. There are 40 black cards (including the 1 maybeboard card) which is originally what I assumed tappedout might be looking at to populate that graph, but that doesn't appear to be the case, since the graph is 2 short from that.

The site does not count mana SYMBOLS but rather the COLOUR of the card. This has been mentioned numerous times in the past and yeago probably has it on his list of this to do, but it isn't a big issue as the actual land count of your deck doesn't change much (maybe 1 land if that) if you count all the mana symbols versus just the card colours.

@ Femme_Fatale I don't know where it's been mentioned in the past, but I've certainly never seen it. If there is a way of searching the forums other than page by page please let me know, because I have not been able to find one. I have to disagree with your assertion that it doesn't make much difference to your land count because it can make a huge difference in your ability to cast spells on curve, depending on the cards you're using. For instance if I decide to try running 4 Leatherback Baloth instead of 4 Fanatic of Xenagos in my Naya Zoo deck, but don't change my land ratio I'm gonna find it much harder to cast my 3 drop on curve. This difference is huge if you're considering creatures like Khalni Hydra or Primalcrux. Obviously, these are extreme examples, but you get the idea.

Me saying that it has been mentioned in the past is basically saying that it most likely won't get done. As since it didn't get done on any of the other times it was mentioned. Yeago has other stuff on his plate that is more important.
