Monsters vs Heroes Changes Help

Hello, So I am relatively new to Magic the gathering. Many of my friends of been playing for a long time but I recently just got into it. One of my recent purchases was the heroes versus monsters duel deck. I was curious if anyone had any ideas on some cards to remove and or cards to add either of those decks to make them a little bit better. I know that starting with a duel deck as a base isn't the best, but I was hoping that someone might have some advice on how to make them a little bit better for casual play. Thank you!
