Multiple custom categories to one card in separated paragraphs format

In Formatting help there are two ways how to format "Custom Categories in Deck Lists". I prefer the second one, with separated paragraphs so I don't have to write name of my custom categories to every single card, just place them under their category.

Can I have multiple custom categories to one card even in this type of formatting? Because I don't know how. In the first formatting type it's easy, but the second one? Does anyone know?

This is an interesting problem because in listing the custom categories at the end, we do not count the quantity of that card multiple times but display it multiple times. But in the paragraph form we do count each listing of that card for deck size. While I do agree it should definitely show up in each category it is listed in, I do not know what the best method to display quantity is.

Should we translate it 1-to-1 directly? For example if I have #CategoryA with 2x Emrakul and #CategoryB with 1x Emrakul should the decklist display that exactly, or should it show 3x in both CategoryA and CategoryB like how the listed way does? If we do the former method then it could result in some issues with say, user wants to put Emrakul in 5 different categories but is running an edh deck.

Hello and thank you for answer!

I can only speak for myself. To me the 1-to-1 translation would make sense as player can declare the exact quantity of the card he or she is running. I usually put all copy of a card into each category. So for me it would be:

#CategoryA
2x Emrakul

#CategoryB
2x Emrakul

In this case, I'm running two Emrakuls in my entire deck and I want both of them to be displayed under both categories A and B. (If I would want display only one Emrakul in CategoryB, I can by changing it as you described, i.e.: 2x Emrakul in CategoryA and 1x Emrakul in CategoryB. Regardless of the fact that I don't catch the rationale behind doing so, but it would be possible if someone wants to do it.)

As you mentioned, the other way would results in issues for singleton formats, making the paragraph formatting practically unusable.
