"new" deck builder

Hey folks!
First, I may be dumb, I may have missed a setting somewhere, if that is the case please tell me where to look and what to do, thx.
Ok, that being said, I noticed that in the middle of this week the deck builder was changed. Before you could easily categorize cards and add them to sideboard or maybeboard in a few clicks. Now you have to manually copy/paste each card from the wall of text that the "main deck" draft list is...
I've no idea why this happened, maybe when it's more convenient for ultra pro elite users?! but for casual/dumb users like me it's a pain in the a.. !
Please help me.
Regards,ZyV
Did you make sure you checked the box that says "Normal mode" and not "workstation mode"?
If you are editing a deck, there is a button in the top right corner that says "edit deck" that will take you to a list of all the cards in your deck so that you can change it.
Hope this helps!

to etalmagic :
Yes it happened since then (wednesday or thursday).
to xo2 :
I tried to click all buttons I could find but yet I couldn't get back to "the draft deck editor just like it always has been"...
And yes that's how I proceed now, I open two windows, one where I can categorize the cards and the second one where I can edit (but I have to copy/paste all cards and it is not user-friendly at all).

to xo2 :
where is that box that would allow me to choose "normal mode" ?
to all :
I will try to be more accurate.
My problem happens just after I clicked on "generate deck". Before clicking it I don't see any option or box (or whatever) I could check or change.
As soon as I've clicked on "generate deck", instead of "the draft deck editor just like it always has been" I have the non-user-friendly one I am talking about.
I don't see anywhere any box with either "normal mode" or "workstation mode"
It is the same when I want to edit an old deck, I get the usual webpage with a card list I can categorize and the mana, cmc and so on diagrams; on this webpage I do see in options some buttons like "edit board" or "workstation", if I click "edit board" I'm (again) sent to the non-user-friendly deck editor and if I click "workstation" the only thing that happens is that it loads the webpage I was already on.
I hope this could help someone to help me!

I am also having the edit board issue. I used to be able to get to the great interface to switch between boards, but now it is again the non-friendly deck editor.

I think that you are using the options box, the edit deck button is above the mana charts and graphs. It's with several options such as "get suggestions"(in red), "play test", "card odds", and "draw hand."

Yeah I can see thoose buttons then I click "edit deck" and then it loads non-user-friendly deck editor.
I'm curious xo2, Did you try to edit a deck yourself lately ? If yes, do you still have the good old one ? If yes then WTF is going on for me, FML !
='(
Sad me.

Which deck editor do you consider to be the user friendly one? Personally, I use the one where I can manually type in the card name and number of each.
May 12, 2012 11:56 p.m.
Rite.
It's the opposite for me. As I said in my first post, the deck editor where you type cards is perhaps better for advanced users but it is dope for dumb/casual/lazy users like me.
I consider the user-friendly one to be the one where you can do everything on the same web-page with the mouse only (in a few mouse clicks you can categorize and assign cards to whatever board you want).
Also plz note that I only use the deck builder after drafting simulation and even if I know most card names there are still a lot that I don't or I'm not sure about them; tbh I know cards better by their pictures than by their names; anyway after drafting you have a list of approx 30-42 different cards and it's a pain to manually filter this.
All thoose are the reasons why I don't like the "manual" deck builder.
So plz tell me how to get back to the other deck editor.

Edit Deck and Edit Board both take me to the manual deck editor.

Yeah the mode he is talking about is the "Edit Board" link which now just takes you to the same place "Edit Deck" takes you.
Edit board is mostly helpful for when you are setting up your draft deck, and was the default page it would send you to when you finished a draft on the draft sim.
It had a catogorized list of all your cards with a dropdown menu to the right that would give you an option to put it in the main/side/maybe board. This feature is a MUST for cube drafting on here since it is damn near impossible to remember every card just by name.
I really hope tapped out is aware of this and plans to fix it.

You should tell yeaGO! about this, he runs the site and (if I remember right) is in charge of the deck building feature here.

Allright, I just let a message about this on YeaGO wall.
Thx for this tip xo2.

I did one Tuesday and the draft deck editor was just like it always has been. Has this happened since then?
