Please see title. Is there a reference system?

There is a reference system and it takes 2 months for your trade binder to be available to filter out spamming. It also helps to deter scammers

Oh also questions regarding the site belong in the tappedout forum. It's best to read the description of each forum before posting just to get an idea of where is best to post. Other than that welcome! Tagging Epochalyptik he deals with most things regarding the forums

First, site-related questions go in the TappedOut subforum. Moved.

I wrote an article about online trading. You might find it useful. Some of the information is out of date (we no longer have a voucher system), but it's mostly relevant.

We've replaced the voucher system with a stronger emphasis on trade offers, which allow users to finalize, accept, and log trades with one another.

We don't allow users to join the trade community until their accounts are 45+ days old. Until that time, your binder will remain private. I highly suggest using the waiting period to build a positive reputation for yourself around here. Newer members of the trading community will find it easier to find trading partners if they are already reasonably involved with the site and their names are recognizable to regulars.

Update: Apparently, moving this thread causes it to 404. It'll have to stay in Traders. For future reference, only use Traders to arrange transactions with other users or to advertise your binder.

Update #2: Thread successfully moved.
