No Deck-Cycles for Me

Anyone else's deckcycles not refreshing for the last 36 hours or so?

Definitely me. I thought I had done something wrong. I also messaged the admin of the FB page. Will update if I get a response. But yeah, I haven't had a cycle since this morning and that one felt like a fluke.

At first I thought it was a glitch and that probably everyone was effected, but that can't be the case, as we can see others are cycling on the mainpage. I'd assume if we'd done something to lose cycling privileges, that we'd get an email or pm or something - it wouldn't be a good punishment if we don't know what we did wrong.

I'm also affected by this issue. No cycle renews during the past 2 days.

Just adding that I'm also affected. My cycles didn't renew, and then I got a single deck cycle, and it hasn't updated since.

Edit: Even though I have 0 Deckcycles, I just tried to cycle a deck anyway. It worked, and my home page now says I have -1 Deckcycles Remaining...

I saw my cycles just reset. I was able to cycle and it shows I have 2 remaining cycles for the day. I hope others are seeing their cycles renewed, too!

Also, I'm guessing most people already know this, but if you download the TappedOut app, you get an extra deckcycle everyday. If I use all of them, my profile shows I have -1 everyday. And this is a really small point, but if you're hoping to have the best possible view to upvote ratio, using the app to deckcycle won't add a view to your view-count.

Well my stuff went back to normal, but hold up... What was that last part?

"using the app to deckcycle won't add a view to your view-count"

What do you mean, kamarupa?

When you work on a deck, it usually add a "view" each time you visit, refresh, edit and save. So for me, most decks I work on end up with 20-50 "views" by the time I'm ready to consider cycling it. I believe, and I could be wrong about this, that if you're using a computer/browser and you click your deck to view it and access the left utility panel where the cycle button is, it will add a "view" to your view-count. However, the app doesn't exactly match the site. Instead, it's more like you're looking at a list of all the decks you've ever made, and each one has a cycle option next to it. If you use the app to cycle, because you didn't even need to look at the decklist, it won't add a "view" to your view-count. I'm only 90% on all this. And really, it's a very small thing. Just something I've observed.

The only reason anyone would care about the view to upvote ratio is that I believe that is how the ranking system here works. (Which I very much support) That is, a deck with only 10 views and 10 upvotes will out-rank a deck with 10,000 views and 100 upvotes. I'm talking about the "achieved #3 position in modern today" rankings that show up on the left stats under the charts and stuff.

Also, I'm glad that one can't just hit refresh on other people's decks to ruin their view/upvote ratios. While hitting refresh on your own deck does add views to your view-count, doing so on others does not. This is all based on various tests and observations I've made over the years. Obviously, it's totally possible for all these things to change.
