Whenever I get notifications, the circle turns red but there is no number to let me know how many notifications I have gotten, I don't know i this is just me or if anyone else has this issue either?

I'm having the same problem. I just thought my browser was wonky. Google Chrome, newest version, in case an admin asks.

I liked the number, he was my confidant.

The number was useful to know if I had 45 or 50 notifications.

That number and I whispered secrets under the bed covers. He was my Dark ConfidantMTG Card: Dark Confidant.

I would really like it back please! I have terrible memory so I forget what I've seen already or not :(

The number was how I knew which of the notifications in the list were the new ones, since it shows both new and old. Guessing based on timestamps is definitely less convenient.

It seems really weird without the number. I also would really want it back.

Every other social-type website I'm hooked into displays a number to show new notifications, so it's just odd to suddenly have one that acts differently. I'm sure the same is true for pretty much everyone else on Tapped Out.

Yeah. I liked the number, too. But I have some other beefs with the notification system.

For starters, if I have a bunch of notifications, they're all out of chronological order until I go to a different page from the main page. Then at that point, I can only see the 10 most recent. If I'm gone for a couple of days, I'll usually have 20 or 30+ stacked up and this gets a bit annoying.

I also feel that it's a bit redundant to have one notification for each person posting in the same topic. While I hate comparing to other websites for user-friendliness, Facebook's notification system has it down to a science.

But if you're preparing for some changes, then I have faith. <3
