Hi, just wanted to upvote my own deck and im sure u did the same once. I got a fraud warning for creating accounts to vote my decks up. why?
Also my brothers playin and i follow him, voting his decks up sometimes, maybe its the problem. I think the fraud system isnt clear enough on fake accounts and friends accounts... :(

Yeah, I am sure it is fine to vote on your own deck. As for creating new accounts to do so... seems a little over the top. If you want votes, make an interesting home brew, feature it, and add a good description perhaps with some HTML pictures.

It's fine to upvote your own decks if you really want to, but it comes at a small price.
You have a spot on your profile called "average deck score", or something similar, that keeps track of the average number of votes all of your decks have. This number ignores all of your decks that have exactly zero upvotes.
If you upvote your own deck and nobody else likes it, then you're adding a big fat 1 into the average calculation, which will almost certainly lower your average score.

thanks for the information. I really didnt create a new account for upvoting! Its really just my brothers decks i upvote a lot, Tappedout cant distinguish it i guess. I also just uppvote mine i fhtey got some votes already, seems needy that a deck with 10 views has a +1 though :)

NobodyPicksBulbasaur- the "average deck score" doesn't include deck with only one upvote. it counts deck with 2 (3?) votes or higher

if you have a poopoo deck, make 50 fake accounts, and then upvote that deck 50 times, it's still doody. not saying you make bad decks, but no one cares about the number of votes except that they might want to see what's inside generating the votes. if you click on a deck with a ton of votes you can usually tell how it got that way. like elite tactics by Lord007. its got a ton of votes cause its cool/unique infinite combo, and on top of it standard.

just that it doesn't really matter if you upvote your ish or not? but i wouldnt make fake accounts just to do it

There's no point in up voting your own deck it seems pointless to me isn't the whole reason for the voting so people can say if they like your deck? Your most likely going to like your deck because you created it just seems pointless to me up voting your brothers deck is different because its not a deck you created. I don't think anyone would be lame enough to create hundreds of accounts to up vote a deck but as has already been said people will know if its a good deck or not from the cards not the votes.

no one is saying you did. when we say "you" its a general reference to anyone.

It's the same as liking your own status on Facebook. If it helps you sleep better at night we're not going to stop you.

Moved to TappedOut forum.
If you create puppet accounts to vote your own deck (or do anything else, really), then you're pretty sad. Upvotes are meaningless anyway.

Epochalyptik then why did i get an fraud alarm if i didnt do it?

If you didn't do what?
The system is probably picking up your brother's upvotes as well and preventing both of you from upvoting a deck one of you already upvoted.

For those of you who still don't understand the OP: He and his brother are upvoting each other's decks as well as their own. TappedOut sees them coming in from the same IP address and thinks they're sock puppet accounts.
This is just an unfortunate glitch.

Rhadamanthus: I think thats the problem, too. Thank you so much for understanding and answering my question!
