So I've recently been getting more into the site and was wondering how to make the HTML links for pictures and if you can use Google drive to link pictures and if you can do all this from a phone or if I need to use my desktop

It's just basic HTML. It'll be covered in any HTML guide (I typically use w3schools).
And you can do it from a phone, but it'll take longer to type the tags.

You can also use markdown syntax

You don't actually need the a tags unless you want the picture to be a clickable link. The img tag is all you need.

if you click the comment box there is an option in the bar to add pictures. Just put in the hyperlink and the site does everything for you. Pretty sweet.
