Have you ever played magic with friends you trust by using tappedout's playtest? I do it all the time. I love making free decks and being able to try them rather than buying cards and than finding out it doesn't work. Also playtesting it on your own doesn't always do the trick. Just wondering if anyone else does it.
Never tried it the tapped out way, used Cockatrice though lol, far far easier.

I thought Cockatrice was shut down due to legal issues?

Just the group involved around development, including servers, but there are other active servers, you just have to change servers to cockatrice.woogerworks port 4747, and it should go.

I stopped using cockatrice just before the whole legal issues and now use Lackeyccg for my playtester I prefer the interface to that of cockatrice. In a recent update they did make it more difficult to find plugins but it works for all Competitive Card Games hense the ccg at the end of the name. You just have to find the correct plugins for them.
