Playtest Mode Poor Shuffling

I've had this problem with the Playtest mode for ages now. It seems like whenever I playtest my decks, I either draw 10 lands in a row, or get no lands. Not very helpful when I'm trying to test the consistency of the deck. I have 36 lands in a commander deck, so in theory I can draw 2-3 lands in my opening hand, but it's usually always 0-1 or 4-5 plus a mana rock and topdecking lands for the next 3 turns. Please fix this?

Im not sure about that. If have 36 lands, surely I should be able to get 2-3 in the opening hand if probability works? 36/100 is approximately 2/5 (so a sample of 5 cards should contain around 2 lands, and a sample of 7 would definitely have more than 2)

True randomness dont work like that. On average you should get 2+, but that mean some times 0 some times 7. Real world shuffling does not cause true randomness. But i still get low lands, or heavy land hands during drafts doing 17/40 irl.

Sometimes you will get 7, sometimes you will get 0 lands, and the average of those will work out to maybe 2-3 in a starting hand over 10000 draws or so. You might get 10000000 hands of 7 lands if it was truly random.

I've had this same problem actually. I quit using the play-tester because it happens so often.

There's really nothing to fix. Any digital shuffling is properly random, unlike a lot of real-world shuffling, which creates a semi-random deck. Most shuffling techniques leave the cards in your deck relatively evenly distributed, which is not how randomness works.
