Playtesting vs Other Decks

TappedOut forum

Is there a function on the site to where you can play against other decks using the one that you constructed for playtesting purposes? All I see is the playtest button on my profile, however, it just shows my deck as it would play out on each turn as opposed to an interactive match. Any help would be appreciated.

The only build in Playtest function is the "goldfish" mode that you've already found. Some people simulate testing two decks against each other by either Playtesting them in two different tabs/windows, or shuffling up a physical deck in real life and Playtesting an opposing deck on the computer screen.

I do this often to see how my decks match up against their weaknesses, just pull up another tab and playtests between two windows. I've found the playtester to be pretty accurate to real life scenarios.

Nope, there's no way to playtest against other decks on the site, unless you want to playtest with a friend and narrate everything on the field. If it's just yourself, then I'd just open up two tabs of playtesting and use them both.

Cockatrice is a good mtg simulator if you need one (http://cockatrice.de/) Just export out your deck from here, Ctrl-C it and import it in. There's no AI in there, but you can do local games or vs who ever is connected.

Would be nice to see that feature built into this website, being that the layout is pretty nice. Nonetheless, still very helpful site. Thanks for the suggestions!
