Please, don't count my own views on my decks!

Every time I deckcycle, the counter registers 2 views. Every time I rewrite a verbose or picture-rich description, 2-10 views pile up. Not to mention the views from reading comments, or getting fancy code in the description to work. One of my brand new decklists has 46 views, and all from me!

Now, who would look at a deck with a hundred views and neither score nor comments? Must be awfully boring if hundred people click and have nothing to say or like, doesn't it?

So, my humble request is to teach that counter how to ignore the views of the decks owner. Seriously.

Lol, nice one.

I don't really care about the score or to showing off my deck ideas to many people, what I cycle my decks for is to get feedback and improve them. Of course it's nice to get upvotes, but what counts for me is improvement and getting new ideas.

yeah I actually agree, I think its a good idea. I want to know how many times other people have looked at my deck, I dont care how many times Ive looked at it.

I don't care but given the choice, would deff rather have the view count be visitor only. Personally I just like the fact it counts the views with no effort on my part to begin with.

For me, the point is mainly the effect it has on the confidence of a potential commenter: "When a hundred viewers couldn't come up with advice, I probably won't be able either..." It's even worse when there already are a few trivial comments, because people will think that everything has been said already.

With decks cycling out faster and faster these days, It's necessary to avoid view-reducing site mechanics.

Agreed. Would be a superb idea. While I like upvotes, improvement style comments are the best.
