Please explain to me how to put a picture in the description on one of my decks.

TappedOut forum

I've tried to put pictures in my description and it either just shows up as code, or nothing at all. The HTML hyperlink for the picture isn't something I need (I think). I don't want to hyperlink it, I just want a regular picture. Even still using that it doesn't work, at least whatever way I'm trying. I can't find how to do it in the text formatting settings, nor anywhere else on the site. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place. Can someone help?

Embed it using HTML img tags.

<img src="url here">

The image url will end in .jpg or .png most likely.

If the picture is saved to my desktop how do I find the URL code?

A local file doesn't have a "URL code" as a URL is just another way of saying web address. You'll have to upload the file to imgur and, once completed, you'll have a URL to link to.

You don't.

You have to find the web source. As far as I know, there's no system on T/O to allow for uploading of any image files.

Is it okay if I ask another question regarding text formatting (the source on this site isn't helping when I try to implement the code) in this forum or should I start another?

Thank you all, I got it to work finally. Not sure how to close this forum or if that is possible.

This is not a forum, for reference. This is a thread.

I would recommend you go to the Coding section of T/Os forums
