Problems with Commenting
TappedOut forum
Posted on Jan. 21, 2018, 1:11 p.m. by SeekerofSecrets
Whenerver i try to comment on my own deck list i can type a response but whenever i hit "preview your comment" i get redirected to a white screen that says "sight error contact site owner." Any idea on whats going on and how i can fix it? It's been going on for about 2 days and i would really like to continue to discuss my decks.
This problem has been persistent on my phone and computer
I'm seeing it also. Been about a week since it started. I assumed the site was being updated/worked on. When I go to preview my comment:
URL: http://tappedout.net/comments/post/
"This page isnt working
If the problem continues, contact the site owner. HTTP ERROR 400"

I do love tappedout and appreciate everyone who takes their time to make it the best it can be.
I've found myself on the site less this week since I know my comments aren't working :'(

yeaGO my deck has updated so that's all square, but I've been trying to comment on Queen Marchesa: Politics, Aikido, and Control and I keep getting the same error message. Logging out and in again didn't help.

I have this same commenting problem at Radiant Elves (RIX).
I've found a way around it though by going to the deck editor and saving the deck. I do this every time before I want to comment. Is it possible that the problem is in the amount of time since a deck has been last updated?

I don't know exactly how this site works, but what MrJohny just described might be a cookie problem. MrJohny lost the ability to comment, loss of cookie and got it back after he logged out and back in, new cookie is created.
To comment you have to be a logged in user on this site, right? When you login this creates a cookie to track that you're in fact logged in. Even if it appears that your logged into the site fine you still have to be recognized by a cookie that says you are to post a comment. This cookie check happens when you go to preview a comment? If there's no cookie then the site can't let you preview the comment.

Still can't comment either and the my decks are not updating like they should, it's forever before the changes show, still have RIX cards say they are illegal and many cards and tokens are not showing and wrong, Think site needs some work on it for sure.

@Argy, I saw your thread and figured I should link you here. A few of us have had troubles commenting on decks.
One thing you can try is logging out of tappedout, clear your cookies on your phone/computer, then log back in and try commenting again.

greyninja thanks for that.
I'm on an iPhone and I have shut the thing down and restarted it, but the problem persists.
I've resorted to leaving feedback on user Profiles, until everything is fixed.
If only my feedback wasn't so damn popular! lol
