Profile Page Question

So this seems like a really dumb question, but something on my profile changed today and I can't for the life of me figure out why or how to fix it.
Basically, I have 26 completed decks published that used to ALL show up on my profile which is how I want it. I like to be able to get to any of them quickly but also see all at once how they are growing in activity with views and folders and whatnot.
Today, I noticed that same list is down to 8.
The only place I've ever seen a setting for this is under profile settings by clicking the yellow dude at the top of the screen and choosing settings. Then there is a box about halfway down that shows "Profile Decks" and all 26 of them are still there.
Sooo, what am I missing here? It shows incorrectly on my phone as well as on my computer and I'm pretty annoyed by it.
Any help? Was there an update that added like a maximum or something and I just missed the memo?

Off topic, but I didn't get a notification about your post yeaGO. Only saw it because the thread is still on the homepage.

Yeah, and I've started my own deck list page too, its just a bummer is all. Get used to something working a certain way...
Interesting too that I didn't get any notifications about these three comments either, I just happened to go back to see if anyone had even viewed my question.
Strange things happening...

Yeah, looking around I don't see anyone with more than 8 decks on their profile. Crazy.
I guess I'll be updating my custom deck list page so I at least have a quick and clean way to get around. The folders page is ok, but it's still kind of messy.

How many decks do you want to appear on your profile? Its interesting sometimes the things that bug people :P
Notifications should come soon. There was an error but they get sent eventually.

We should have 10, not 8.
I plan to have 10 EDH decks or more ;)
btw, can we cycle through the decks that appear on our page?
Also can we deckcycle the decks that are not on our home page?

Even a randomizer or a recent activity option would be amazing. You know, like the recent apps on the windows start menu :)
I would be 100% ok if it had the option to update itself by moving newly viewed decks to the top, or had been added to a folder, or new comments. That's all I'm looking at when I could see them all at once anyway is increases of those things.
A check box to turn it on and off to give us the option would be amazing, and I think a randomizer option would be nice too or at least a plan b if the first suggestion isn't possible. I know not everyone is going to want the same thing I do so a toggle switch in settings makes a lot of sense.

8 is fine if that can happen. 10 would be better, but I'm not going to complain.
Another option I just thought of would be to bump up decks as you cycle them. Again, I'm just one of those people that spends probably too much time caring about numbers and stats and like to check in and see views, and know whose adding to folders and stuff. I like to look at the folders to see what else is in there, it's interesting to me.
If I'm in the minority just tell me, I can deal. Like I said I'm working on my own deck landing page anyway for navigation which will help my own problem. The other thing I liked about being able see them all in a shortened list like that is just a faster way to get from one to the other.

@ CChaos - You should be able to cycle any deck that you have created.
@ Hobbez9186 - I kind of like the idea of moving the most recently cycled deck to the top, as it keeps the decks you are working on present on your homepage. However, this doesn't apply to people, myself included, that only keep four or five decks on their profile page. A toggle for this feature would be necessary.
You mention that you have your own custom page for your deck lists- what does this have that the Folder page or Deck page doesn't?

The actual real bummer for me is that I use to be able to see them in chronological order that I made them. This was great because when I got a new card that say went into 17 decks, I could easily update each one of them one by one by scrolling down as I did. The thing with the the deck folder icon is that they keep moving based on which one you updated last!
TL;DR: Question: Is there a way to order decks in a way or another? (Chronological of when they were made was fine).

Well originally it was the same thing as the folders but a little more customizable because I can change the order however I want and I made my own graphics. However, I couldn't get the buttons to line up side to side and they are way too big now that I have tripled my deck list over the last few weeks.
I've scrapped that layout and am working on a collapsible menu that is easier to navigate by category, again with custom graphics and links to my decks that will be easy to update once my template is done. I've found myself posting decks way more frequently than I had thought I would, so I just need a clean way to get around.
I agree that not everyone will want things to look or update the same way, so on/off switches in settings would be important for the profile page. This especially won't effect those that don't even have 8+ decks in the first place though.
If I have time to wrap up my menu today I'll share it on here, or just as soon as it's done. Too many projects to do outside today :)

I do not believe that is a current option, EastsideRock.
From what I'm reading, you want the folders to be collapsible and be able to customize the order that the decks appear in those folders? Is that correct, Hobbez9186?
I think the best thing we can do to help resolve this problem and keep the complaints to a minimum is identify the qualms with the update and find ways to address them such that they don't change activity for the users that don't mind the change.
Making the folders into true accordions and essentially making them "tiles" to move around sound like it would fix this issue? I'm not sure how difficult tiles are for 'Go to implement, though.

Hobbez9186 says... #16
Well I'll have visual proof soon to explain myself. I for one am probably far pickier than your average Joe so I don't expect special treatment.
However, if loading everything up front is the issue or displaying all the deck images at once, then accordions could fix it by only displaying the deck images on demand by the user clicking on the accordion.

So I just took a minute to test a concept, that images can be used as accordion headers and not just text. I updated what I already had here.
I'll be moving ahead to the next step since this works with the existing tools and should be pretty easy to clean up. Like I said before, the images I had originally used were just way too big to not have side stacked, and I just couldn't get that to work. I like the accordion better anyway.

Those look very nice, Hobbez9186!
However, the only difference I see between your page and the folders (besides the visuals) is that you're able to adjust the code yourself to reorder the decks. You actually lose the quick-view at comments, views, etc. in your method.

Yeah, ordering our decks the way we want would be awesome.

I know, that's why I'm so bummed that I can't just see them all on my profile lol. There has to be a way to code updated numbers to be displayed, obviously the data is there and it is possible, it's just not usable to us.
Hell, even if they are all just visible to me... But honestly, it's a great way to advertise your decks when someone hits your profile to be able to see all the activity and look around. More likely to get more hits if they don't have to dig an extra page to get there and can choose one from your profile.
I'm probably just crazy. I'm ok with that.

Hobbez9186 what do you think of the folder icon above? do you ever click on that? its a reference to all your non-archived decks

it's pretty neat in its rapidity of accessibility but the fact that they keep changing order based on the last one you updated for me is now a drawback (now that we lost all our decks in fixed order on our profile page).

I do use the folder icon on occasion, but only to access decks that I don't have published. If it weren't for that I wouldn't use it because it's really clunky imo and doesn't show anything other than votes and comments. If it were more like the former profile page list or even customize-able besides being able to make more folders I would probably use it more. Is there any reason that each one of those tiles can't also display view count and number of folders? Give the list order options and make the folders collapsible (default expanded, but can choose to start collapsed with a setting) for those of us with longer lists, and I think that would actually be amazing.
The part I just liked about seeing them all on the side of the profile is that its the first page I see when I hit my profile and without even clicking anywhere I can already see views, comment count, votes, and folders for every single one of them. Now I have to spend time going to each one to see all of that information. That's what has me thrown off.
From an outside perspective too, if I were to visit my page (or anyone's page) and could see all of that info I can choose one that looks appealing to me, not just the top 8 that "Hobbez" (or whoever) wants me to see, you know? Now the decks that aren't as popular as my "top 8" really won't get views because nobody is going to dig for them unless I use cycles.

In my opinion, having dozens of decks on your profile makes it less likely for someone to click on them. I found it irritating to visit someone's page for whatever reason, and have to scroll way down to find what I'm looking for.
Also Hobbez9186, I think (correct me if I'm wrong) 'Go was referring to the decks list when you click on the Folder icon and expand the Decks panel. That just lists all of your non-archived decks with the top being the most recently updated.

Hm. Well, no, I've never seen that.
That's a nice way to jump.
Still missing the numbers, but I did not know that was up there. Thanks.
That'll be a nice quick way to get around for now, I'm still updating my personal navigation that is mostly to the benefit of anyone else interested in looking at my decks. I've started uploading the first few new images for the decks I had already made buttons for that provide the person browsing enough information about each deck to want to click on them.
I think you're right though, most people would see 20+ decks and react with a "TL:DR" and move on because they would likely just be overwhelmed. That is why I am working on the collapsible menu that should be more inviting to look through. It will by no means be a total site-wide solution unless the deck folder page gets an overhaul with similar options.

There has been discussion of implementing a maximum number of decks per profile page. It detracts from the page as a whole and increases load time, which can be significant if using mobile or an older/slower computer. This feature might have been recently implemented.
You can still easily view your decks by clicking on the Folder icon in the top right of your screen and expanding the Decks panel. Additionally, you can go to your user page and access a more detailed list of your decks there.
