Regenerate?
TappedOut forum

I just became a member as of...20 seconds ago and I would appreciate it if someone could explain would regenerate means. Thanks!
Let's say you have a Thrun, the Last Troll out on the battlefield and your opponent casts Day of Judgment . Thrun is now looking down the barrel of a board-wipe.
Before Day of Judgment resolves, you would want to activate Thrun's Regeneration "shield" by paying 1G.
If you paid the Regeneration cost before Thrun would be destroyed, then a number of things occur simultaneously: Thrun is removed from combat (if Regenerated while attacking/blocking), Thrun becomes tapped, and all damage on Thrun is removed.
Regeneration doesn't change the zone of the Regenerated card. It doesn't go to the graveyard and come back, or anything. It's just tapped, removed from any applicable combat, and all damage is removed from it.

Oh, im sorry I should have clarified more. I meant the button next to deckcycle on a deck page. Excellent explanation though zandi.

Huh. Neither do I. I've never seen it before, so I figured it had something to do with being a member. Sorry for not clarifying in my original question by the way.

And no, not the folder button. Although I will admit to not knowing 100% as to what that means.

That just helps you organize your decks, such as by Standard, Legacy, etc. Is there a secret regenerate button on deck pages? I've never seen one

Ah, ok. Thanks. And huh. Well that certainly is weird. It's directly to the right of my deckcycle button, it looks the same shape and everything. Is there anyway to take a picture and show you?

I've been on the site for 6 months, and I honestly have no clue how to post pictures. I suppose you could Print Screen and put it in paint, then link it somehow?

I've been on the site for around 3 months myself. I guess I could post it to tappedout's facebook page.

I meant a member for 6 months, I actually lurked the forums before that, I guess you could do that, may somebody could help you there?
November 25, 2012 8:53 p.m.
Oh, ok. And I have absolutely no idea to be honest. I thought it was just something that was new when you became a member. I have absolutely no idea what it does.

The deck regenerate button is a way to recalculate all the charts and information for your deck. For example, when editing your deck using the mouseover +/- buttons, you can regenerate the deck afterward to display the updated information about the deck in its current state.

Oh, ok. Thanks, I was puzzling over what that was. Thanks.

And that's why Epochalyptik is one of the top contributors to the site

On the deck's page, right below its name and your name, is a series of buttons: "Feature", "Add to Folder", and "Regenerate".

I've got "Feature", then "Add to Folder" and then "Deckcycle".

Well that's weird. Sadly, this is the limit of my helpfulness.

Upgraded users can regenerate their decks manually. Un-upgraded users won't see the option.

I can't really explain it that well, so I'll just leave with this link
