Remove Comment

I really love the "remove comment" option that was granted to me upon upgrade. It's very useful when I respond to a comment on one of my decks, and then want to add a sentence or change a wording. I can just re-comment and remove the previous. I can also remove comments by users who accidentally double post.
I do however think it would be helpful if this was granted to any post that I myself make, so if I accidentally post something twice, or say something irrelevant (like I suggest a creature, and then realize it's not legal for the format, or that I missed it in my look at the deck and they already have it.) ,I can just delete it. The only thing I'd say would be a stumbling block is how it would effect peoples notifications about posts being made.
I wouldn't say it's a need though, just something I think most would find useful, and maybe help increase account upgrades as an additional perk. By and large, this community is very cool and no one really gets angry or upset when a user makes multiple posts (and feeling bad cause they think they are "spamming" even though they don't mean to). However, I would embrace the ability to be able to reduce my own clutter and non-releveant or double posts.

Because we don't have a quote system, it's probably better to disallow editing and deleting (most) comments because that can screw up conversations, especially when it comes to trade negotiations.
Overall, the system is functional as-is. The preview screen is meant to help users see and fix errors before posting, and that covers the primary reason for needing to delete or edit a post.
I'm willing to hear other arguments, but I don't think a change is likely unless we can overcome some of the inherent problems with giving users that privilege.

I really like the remove comment option too, mainly when someone's a f*cking asshole which happens way too often

A edit feature to edit a already existing comment would be nice as well.
I believe this has been talk about before but can't be done easily due to this forum not using vbulletin or something like that.
