Several Commander 2013 cards missing

I've spent the time lately to apply proper editions to the cards in my decks and I've noticed that a majority of C13 cards don't actually have C13 as an option to select. I tried applying [C13] manually in some of these cases and of course have been presented with the error saying that version of the card doesn't exist. I'm pretty sure I've seen this happen with a few modern masters and duel deck cards as well. Any plans to complete these sets on site?

Most of C13 is missing. Notable examples include Command Tower and Avenger of Zendikar

Ah, looks like my removing the supertypes from the subtype sections also affected more than just C14. hmm. I'll do a comprehensive examination of all the sets once I finish with the FRF spoilers. So C14, C13, MMA and the DD's are definite examinations, any other sets?

Most of C13 eh. That's good. Gives me a reason to redo that entire set. I botched up the images when I was doing C13, it was sort of the start of my card image adding career.

The only other example I can think of off the top of my head is the lack of Deckmasters. (Notably for the foil Necropotence) though I'm not aware if that set ever existed on the site.

Oh, deckmasters is because I had put all the fringe decks in our database a few months back, when I was fixing dates. I don't think those will ever get added, as there is no card image database for them. The really old decks and duel decks are at the bottom of my list, I'll start from the top first.

The duel deck card which made me aware of it was Beast Within, of note Sun Titan from the same deck is available.

If it's of any use to you I know the deckmasters version of Necropotence can be found on magiccards.info :)

Don't ever use any image from magiccards.info. Those are scans, and have mass discolouration on them.
I'll look into them myself at a later date, if I have to use magiccards.info I will, but the colour quality is poor.

Ah well that's understandable. That particular case isn't really a big deal, most of it came down to C13 cards missing. C14 is much more intact as far as I've seen.

I already fixed about 10 cards from C14, though I do agree on its intact-ness.

The list page for C13 is missing the same cards that artwork is missing for if that helps.

It just means that the C13 printing of the card has been removed entirely from the database. I now know how to fix cards so that they aren't removed when I'm removing incorrectly placed supertypes in the subtypes section and vice versa, so the issue shouldn't happen again. I had just forgotten how to do so (or that I had to do so) when I was on hiatus.
But I hardly doubt that that was what caused the mass C13 disappearance. The cards you have mentioned have been that way for a while, so I honestly think it was the first time when yeago implemented his automatic card uploading, so that whenever a card is added to gatherer it is automatically added to our database. That was when I remember a lot of cards started to just disappear. As to a further note, those cards all had their proper subtypes and supertypes, as I remember cleaning out the supertypes and subtypes before and none of the C13 cards were affected.

Strange, it's almost like automatic database submissions bump out other cards along the way. If that's the case then it would technically be possible that random cards from other sets might be disappearing as well. If I run across more missing cards I can bring them to your attention. I'm in the process of building my inventory so I'll be dealing with a lot of different cards and editions.

On a somewhat unrelated note Mana Vault (Revised) displays as Vintage Masters.

Probably because the revised version no longer exists. Or because it was replaced with the Mana Vault version. Like I said, the automatic importing yeago implemented caused a lot of weird stuff to happen.

Thanks for looking into the C13 thing. I'll be able to make my decks mostly accurate once those cards are re-added. :)
