Site Improvements

Two things I would say that you need, just to improve the overall site, are a binder for just cards that you own, like a library.

Secondly, I would suggest an option to transfer cards easily from your trade binder to your library, and an option that allows you (when building a deck) to access the cards in your library during your build, and anything that you don't have in library is automatically added to aquire . . .

Just suggestions, take it or leave it

I suppose you're right.

Seems I have forgotten that somewhere along the line.

I'm into it =)

I'm kinda doing some soul-searching right now when it comes to the matter of collections on this site. I also wonder if new considerations have to be made when it come to creating and maintaining a huge collection on the site.

I'd really want some more feedback in terms of what kind of organization people would need in order to usefully organize an entire collection.

I would really enjoy a search function when it comes to trade binders. Being able to sort by name, color, mana cost, and any other trait that you can think of would be quite nice. Some people have some pretty impressive binders and it can get a little out of hand when you are searching through 1000+ for something that might interest you.

Sounds good, but can't you already see cards in peoples binders by searching for that card? Also, what do you think of a poll system that allows people to start opinion polls on topics like cards and decks?

The kind of organization I personally would look for would be either by format or by release. Like the cards I can use in specific formats or just all cards I own listed by release, with how many I own in the set vs how many exist type displays . . . and then you could break it down further into the types of decks I like to play . . . it's really sky is the limit. It would be good to start with just building the library in it's entirity and then build a forum or do a poll and make changes based on the results, etc . . .

Also, the main point I want a library for, is for building a deck that I know I have all the cards for. Say if I need to playtest a deck that I am going to be competing with that night. So I don't have to go through every card I have looking and reading each one. I can just go through my library picking and choosing what will work best and dropping it into my deck. Make sense?
