small suggestion - mobile browser interface

TappedOut forum

On mobile browsers, the hover over card has been replaced with a click to bring up a popup showing the card in more detail. This feature is really awesome. The only request I have is that the "X" button is a wee bit small and can be hard to click sometimes (might be the phone, but probably just me).

So my request is this: Could the "x" be replaced with a bigger button, or just have a larger hitbox on it?

Cheers.

Took me a while to even find the "X" heh. It's fine now that I know it's there, but a pain for the first few times.

I no longer see the X, the card covers all of the popup. I have to close the window by refreshing the page :(
Also, could the X be on a place easy to reach? (no scrolling to the bottom evertime, or maybe a close-popup-by-clicking-the-card system like the one we had before?)

Just ideas, brainstorming and such
Cheers!

Nevermind; Found the close button now; it is sometimes hidden behind the interface in the smaller displays like those of iPhone 5s and prior versions.

Close by clicking/touching card could be an option as well as having the button?

If I could sneak in here for a quick bug that I have. When I try to scroll down to see prices on a card popup it scrolls the page behind and I can't find the x near the bottom.

I don't know why this is, but on occasion when I bring up a menu like this, the card screen in the play tester or the drop down inventory menus, sometimes I can't scroll up or down, and have to rely on tapping the small space outside the box.

I exclusively use T/O on my phone so it's a bit frustrating to lose the functionality of just being able to tap a card to see the image without having to bring up the menu screen.

There is one other suggestion I would like to bring up about TappedOut for mobile browsers. I know that in an attempt to decrease loading times, a lot of html features have been removed for the mobile version of the site. This however can also have some severe negative impacts.

The main one that I am noticing (and I'm not sure if it's just me) is that a lot of the display:none options dont loaf by default. This means that when viewing decks or profiles (especially ones with primers or large walls of text) it can create much more scrolling. Especially since sometimes the hide buttons that people add to the descriptions dont work. This can leave you with a lot of scrolling. So with a deck that has a large primer and a lot of comments I have found myself scrolling for much longer than it would have taken to just load the scripts.

The other issue I have noticed is with images. For me at least, I have been unable to get images on my profile page to load correctly. I'm not trying to set a wallpaper or anything, just scale the image down so it's actually viewable (currently it goes off the page). I know that a lot of the image functions have been removed to help reduce load times, however this isn't true for deck pages, only profiles. I have gone to multiple deck pages with backgrounds while on mobile browser.

For reference, I am on a Nokia Lumia 930 running up to date windows mobile and using the built in internet explorer web browser.

Cheers.

This is the problem mentioned before, smaller displays have issues to show and access the "Close" Button.

Example of interface blocking such button on an iPhone 5s:

Is there any way to address this, yeaGO?
Maybe halving the size of the yellow buttons and putting both side by side? Or putting the close button near the Visit Page button? Or making 3 columns instead of 3 rows?

Thanks for the patience hahahah

can't you scroll down?

June 13, 2016 5:42 p.m.

Busse says... #15

No. Most of the times happens what MindAblaze described; if I try to scroll, the background page scrolls down, and the popup stays in the same position.

You mean as a standalone bug report thread? Ok will do. I'm never sure what's the proper form to report/inform these kinda things.

Sorry for the inconveniences :) Cheers!

yeaGO: could I get your thoughts on the other issue as well? I'm happy to set it up as a different thread if you want.
