Some Form of Chat?
TappedOut forum

Maybe like an IRC chat? I am a regular on here and would love to get in touch with people that are also regulars, or that need help. Posting on walls for when people are not online can also stay, that's already a great feature.
It'd be pretty easy to make a channel on freenode. I could probably set one up in a few minutes if yeaGO! is okay with it.

I am fine with it as long as the rules are similar--general flexibility. I have been checking out different chats lately, such as Hipchat and Flowdock. They're kinda newer and more featureful.

I am all for this. There are some people with whom I think I'd enjoy having a magical chat if I didn't have to post back and forth on walls.

It would be nice if it could be branded with the TappedOut usernames, etc. I guess IRC accomplishes that, and I don't mind using IRC myself but I do find it a bit stale. I could add a chat to the site, been something I've been interested in doing and already got working in the draft chat.

I would love it. But thats just me and why I actually said something. :D

Biggest reason I support an IRC is that my IM program supports it so I don't need to keep a window open to chat.
Well I set up a basic IRC on freenode if anyone wants to join.
Once yeaGO! implements a sitewide chat I can easily take this one down.

There's a draft chat in the draft room, do you mean we should have that kind of chat for the whole site?
