WHY THE HELL ARE THEIR SO MANY ADS ON THIS SITE??????????? I can't even block them with my ad blocking extensions on chrome..... there are too many... i can barely click anything without it opening an ad in a seperate tab. FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's not just sad, it's annoying as all hell..... It's rediculous. I go to block an ad, then boom another is there to take it's place....
I summon yeaGO to sort this shit out... please. i am about to lose my flippin mind.

I have not experienced this at all. Could you have some kind of spyware or something?
It would be peculiar for multiple users experience the site in different ways. Therefore I think it may be something on your end? Perhaps.

May have a virus or adware on your device. I dont get any pop ups on this site. I do however see some ads, but this is how the site is paid for.

Ads are the way those websites make money, but usually adblockers can block ads on websites.
Did you installed something recently? Are some words you see underlined for no reasons and when you hover them an ad pops? That would mean there is some kind of unwanted publicity/scam software installed on your computer. If that is the thing, I cansend you links for some removal tools (not Doom Blade)!!!

I may have misunderstood. If you're dealing with multiple pop-ups and ads that seem to be out of the ordinary, I suggest you look into virusware. The only real ads you should be seeing are the banner ads at the top and occasionally on the side. There should be no real chance of accidental clicking of ads unless you have some sort of malware on your machine.

yeah, I only ever see bannerads on this site, I turned off my adblocker for it. There's nothing intrusive or forcing pop-ups going on for me.
also of note are the amount of spammers we had the other day, possibly still, setting up their decks so it would redirect you to another site. Maybe that's what you've been experiencing.

There's two areas for adds, at the top, and on the side. If there's anything else, it's your computer that f***ed up.

i got it figured out... i downloaded a file extractor (like 7-zip, but different company) in order to update my webcams drivers.... and that what caused the issues... i do apologize for abusing the summoning stone to summon you yeaGO. i will humbly go jump into a vat of acid... or just sac a goat (aeonstoremyliver that one was for you).... lol sorry everyone. i have since uninstalled the problem software.

If your extension's not blocking the ads on this site, then your extension's not working. Make sure you haven't accidentally turned it off on this page or something along those lines. I use AdBlock Plus and I don't see ads anywhere on TappedOut.

Same thing happened to me. But just so people know, that type of adware or virusware makes ads pop up on every website on every search engine but for some reason, more so on T/O than on other sites

@yeaGO I found what was causing it... it was a program on my end... not tappedout's... i do apologize. the ads are gone as i have uninstalled said program... it was a file extraction program i had used to update the drivers on my webcam...
