Specific land arts

TappedOut forum

Hey everyone, so I know that I can specify a Return to Ravnica Swamp by Swamp [RTR], but I was wondering if there was a way to go deeper. I would like swamp D, not A. Not sure if the site can go this deep yet or not. Also, I was trying to specify the Commander 2013 Sphinx of the Steel Wind, and the site couldn't find it. When I looked up the site's database, I didn't see it there.. Just curious, all comments appreciated.

Moved to TappedOut forum.

You can list missing cards, and we'll hopefully get someone to volunteer to add them (only upgraded users can submit card data).

As for the alternative arts within the sets, we don't have an easy way to do that. Each set handles only one set of basic lands because the DB uses names, not card numbers.

So, I've had this issue more than once. I thought I made this a forum?? Apparently not, so how do I do I begin a forum? I know that only upgraded users can submit card data, but I am not an upgraded user. How do I become upgraded? What are the other perks? Thanks for the help.

Only myself and a few others can make a forum. I presume you mean to ask how you post in a different forum.

In the header bar you'll find a link to our forum listings. Read through the forums (there are lots) and pick the one that best suits your post. Remember that rules-related questions belong in the Q&A, not the forums.

You can upgrade by going to your profile menu (the rightmost icon in the header bar) and clicking "add tokens" or "extras," whichever displays for you. Upgrading costs $5 and is permanent. You get three deckcycles per day (instead of one), a few feature tokens, the ability to personalize your username, and some nifty site features like seeing who upvoted your decks and being able to submit card fixes.

I see, I will be sure to remember that next time I have a question like this. I will likely upgrade later tonight, sounds like that is totally worth five dollars.

I want to bring yeaGO!'s attention to this again. I suggested it a long time ago because a few of the older sets have the same issue with non-land cards as well. Basically, my solution to the problem was to put a number after the regular code. Like [RTR2] or [RTR4] to indicate which one you want. There would be no [RTR1] however, as that would just as easily be [RTR].

I also apologize about the reanimation of this thread. I was really ill these past few weeks and have missed a lot. Thusly, I'm trying to catch up.

The problem is that system would interfere with the current TLA system. Your notation implies the creation of new sets to handle the new arts.

Epochalyptik what is the possibility of including the gather id in the notation. This allows people to identify the card exactly.Though the t/o db would need to be updated to include the gather id for those missing it.

You'd have to ask yeaGO!; he's the one who handles the coding and hard design work.

1996 arena basic lands. They are the best.

Is there a way to have it list the promo art? The Eater of Hope promo art is much nicer.

Promo art is a different set. It is tagged [000], but the card has to updated to it first.
