Suggestion for new notifications

Atm if you get new notifications the white textbox shows as red, like everybody already knows for sure. But could it be possible to add a number to it? The same way for example facebook shows how many new notifications there really are.
I know it is possible to check that out by looking at the timestamp on right side but it would make things easier, especially when there is lots of things happening. Couple of times I also have missed some deck posts because of that. Not a major problem for sure, but something to consider.
Definitely a good idea. Makes things easier to understand and prevents missing out on things. I've had to message people so many times because they couldn't see the notification due to it getting drowned out.

We used to have a number. I think yeaGO took it away for coding reasons.
I can't really remember why it went away, it's been a year or longer.

I like this suggestion. Also prevents pointless time wasted from having looking at notifications that have already been checked before.
