Suggestion Re: Deck Menus

To start I have a strictly mobile point of view here. It is my primary source for all things internet.

To the point: I thought of a neat idea for formatting on the site, however being as I know very little about the coding and such it could be harder than it sounds... but right now to look at your decks the process is: Click Folder -> Click Decks Accordion -> Choose/Edit deck. What if there were a way to add shortcuts while cleaning things up? For instance, making each deck name a dropdown menu or another accordion with options. What options? We already have edit right next to it but to cycle, feature, or playtest you must go directly to the deck page. Could also add a 'copy link/slug' option for convenience.

What does that clean up you ask? On my screen those edit buttons are all over the place and it is sometimes hard to discern which deck they belong to. Furthermore I thought it could be incorporated into the deck pages itself by putting the same options, if not more (being all the buttons under the Title really) into a neat drop down box under the title.

I hope someone gets my idea... I'd add pictures to illustrate my points but technology really had escaped me these past years so I'm ashamed to say I don't know that trick. That's all for now... just thought I'd share in the wee hours of a sleepless night. Time to try though before someone wakes up and gets mad or cries lol.

Something like this, to illustrate my point.

  • Deckcycle

  • Feature

  • Copy Slug

  • Edit

  • Live Edit

  • Deckcycle

Mj3913 I primarily use my phone for TappedOut too.

You will find that the Edit buttons all line up if you turn your phone sideways to look at them.

I also figured my idea would save on data. Instead of loading your deck page to cycle or otherwise, you just click the link in the individual dropdown for that deck.

Not saying your idea was bad, just giving you a tip.
