Hey there everyone.

I figured a forum was the best was to update people throughout the day. So coverage will start below.

Great turnout for the tournament. We have 93 people. First round just started.

Many tappedout users (remm, mozerdozer, TheHorse, Spoofed, and many more) are in and already playing in round 1. We will see how they all do.

Delver seems to be making quite a showing so far. As well as wolf ramp run and UB control.

A nice Wolf ramp splashing white has made it through the first round.

When you get to the top 8, you should ask if any of them are members, and post their username with their real name.

April 22, 2012 4:52 p.m.

KorApprentice says... #15

Yeah, that's what I was hoping for. I know not all are users, but I know that users like mozerdozer are there.

What it looks like so far is that Wolf Ramp Run is taking the day. Quite a few players in the above set are really doing well with them. The rest of the top of the field seems like Delver, Solar Flare, and tokens.

mozerdozer unfortunately dropped last round. TheHorse is still in and I believe Spoofed is still in.

That's because Wolf Run White is the best deck in Standard. It always has been, but people are (for some reason) just now starting to realize it.

The event was a lot of fun, congratulations to the box winner and everyone else who took home some prizes.

My wife and I had a great time even though today wasn't our day and we would definitely do it again, hopefully there will be more events like this!

April 22, 2012 10:25 p.m.

zandl says... #25

Oh. And 93 people is awesome! That should generate a lot of buzz for our beloved T/O!

April 22, 2012 10:25 p.m.

mafteechr says... #26

Indeed. Hopefully some of the players in the event will join our community.

I can't wait to see where the next Tapped Out tournament goes!

Yup it was a great time for all I think. I had a lot of fun. And it was great to finally meet some of our tappedout folk. The winner is...

One of the guys playing delver.

Sorry 12 hour day don't remember who he was, but in the next day or so, all deck lists and pictures will be posted in an article.

April 22, 2012 11:19 p.m.
