TappedOut.net App iOS
TappedOut forum

Hi, yeaGO! Are you planning on updating the TappedOut.net app for iOS to include the same features as the Android app? Specifically, the card scan feature and the ability to view decklists. If so, when can we expect to see the update? Thanks!!

This is more a an over-all feature request, not just the iOS/Android apps, but the ability to be able to search decks by hub. (I know, there is already a way to click on a hub and view the decks) I'm thinking more along the lines of a filter. IE, check boxes for the different hubs, let the user click which hubs they want in the results. Standard Simic Control, or Modern Mono-Blue Infect, etc.
Just my $0.02

@mindfulvet have you tried the advanced search? (deck builder > advanced search)
I'd like to see a way to get notifications right on the phone about comments, etc - but I'd also like it to be filterable so someone can get notifications about for example, their forum posts - not ones they've posted on, just ones started by them :)

Folks the topic here is additional things you'd like to see in the app. :)
Please share

I like the idea of deck lists being visible as well as forum access. Apps are much more convenient than browsers. Maybe deck editing as well

Hi! I'll leave some ideas to discuss:
-Deck colors in the deckcycle list (I don't see nothing but the names, at least)
-A notification indicator, showing how many, or what type of notifications you have pending.
-A button that links to the TappedOut main page or profile.
-Possibility to arrange decks in a customized order
-A ''...'' button that shows/takes you to the list of a specific deck (in-app)
And going out on a limb here:
-A card search field (for when someone says "Hey! do you know Chimney Imp" and you positively want to look at it). This would be meant for quick reference and to avoid accessing other pages (sometimes slow and/or messy).

Deck editing, Trade Binder Editing.
I had the app forever ago and deleted it because it didn't really do anything and haven't really ever even thought about re-downloading it... /:

I think it would be cool if you could feature your deck from the app.

yeaGO simply being able to work on deck lists on iOS devices without having to use the desktop site is enough for me. i wouldnt care if you simply made a mobile version for the site instead of a dedicated app.

- I would like see card scanner, especially for cards of different language. :) it would help a lot. also when you scan the cards, you can check the price updates.
- able to search for other decks and save it.

It would be nice to have the ability to upload alters via an iOS app because we're mostly taking the pictures from our phones.
I have no idea how it would work, but importing deck lists from other popular apps would be excellent. Perhaps an export to some decklist formats.
Those in addition to some nice card search and deck building functionality.

If it would be feasible to make the card database easily searchable and usable on mobile, searching by certain criteria like those found on magiccards.info, that would be fabulous.

I have an Android and an IOS device. I'd be happy if the IOS app had the same functionality as the Android version.
As for improvements, one thing I'd like to see on the app, as well as on the website, would be maybe a short history of adds/cuts. There have been several times where I have accidentally clicked (both app and site) and removed a card and had to go back and try to figure out what is missing. This could be only available to you when you are logged in or public with the deck, which ever is easier.

yeaGO, do you have a time frame for when we might see some of these improvements / new features?

What about "admin tickets" for bugs/errors/other terrenal issues?
That way we could avoid flooding the forum with redundant posts when something bad happens.
If the issue is massive, the tickets are just dismissed after resolution

Upgraded users can set times to automatically deckcycle certain decks. Would save a lot of time

I think we should be able to start decks from the app, maybe only for IPad though? Save a deck then play on the go. I find my self trying to play duels, but nothing is like playing face to face

@yeaGO, unsticky? This forum has been dead for 2 weeks.

Good eye, in this case I do want to keep visibility because we're about to pump out some features to our iOS folks :)

Hi, yeaGO, any updates on when some of these new features will be available on the iOS app?

I havent been able to deckcycle on the app for a little while now, because it always says that I have 0 cycles left. Any help? Thanks
May 25, 2017 6:25 p.m.
Oh, maybe you're cycling through the site? Try cycling anyway even if it says 0
May 25, 2017 7:24 p.m.
ha, yes, its live. some crashes but i think overall we're good.

yeaGO I still have not been able to login on the app yet as I have my account linked through facebook and do not know my password. Is there any way to fix/reset this or change the email maybe? I remember that you posted something on my wall about a possible fix for this however I was never able to locate what you were talking about. Please let me know. Thank you so much!
June 7, 2017 10:53 a.m.
Okay, awesome! Thank you yeaGO! I will try it later and let you know.

Feedback accepted? Some extra ideas
A way to arrange/organize the decks that are seen in the app (by date, points, views, color, something).
A way to hide certain decks. I have a couple that are more of a rambling than a real idea/design, and are of no use to me in the app
That's my two cents. Again, good job.

I'm still unable to cycle through the app. Does anyone else have this issue?
June 7, 2017 1:06 p.m.
yeaGO It's fixed now. Had to uninstall then reinstall for some reason.

The update is great I do have one small issue though. The update only lets you cycle a deck once per day. You can use all your cycles but the decks have to be different

The only way around that seems to be logging out and signing in every time you want to deckcycle the same deck.
June 10, 2017 10:40 p.m.
Came for the same thing...
Sometimes you want to intensively cycle a deck, and now it's troublesome to do that. Is it possible to patch that?
