The "break" command seems to be completely broken...

...on ever part of the site now, as opposed to just being broken in deck descriptions and the forums.

I was wondering if yeaGO was aware of this, if I'm doing something wrong, or if it has something to do with the software used by the site.

The specific command is:

< / b r >

...without spaces of course.

</br> is not a tag. The line break tag is simply <br>, although when TO gets <br> it automatically produces <br /> for XHTML. /> is how XHTML handles all those odd-ball HTML tags that don't have a closing tag, like br and img.
