Is there an option to use different printings of tokens, like DTK instead of the Commander 2015, or does it use whichever's newest, with no other option? Not terribly important, but i just prefer different goblin/beast tokens than the newest ones.

Really? Because tokens don't show up for me. They're all just black rectangles

I assume you were talking about the new playtester? If so, there isn't presently a way to change the token images that I know of, though you may be able ask Femme_Fatale (nicely) if she'd be willing to swap one out for you or build in more options.
Serendipitous_Hummingbird - that was a running issue with the old playtester. So far, tokens have been working nicely for me in the new one.

Whoops, yes to clarify, I was talking about the playtester. And if there is no way to pick which printing, then that answers my question.

Ooooooh I thought you meant in paper magic. My bad. Well, sounds like you got an answer anyway. Good luck!

There currently is not a method of which one can dredge up older token printings for the playtester to detect.

formayor ah well I've been using the old playtester as it's the one I'm used to. I'll switch over.

You can use any token you want, as long as they're the right name, color, stats, and effects. You can even make custom tokens with custom art if you want to get fancy. Tokens aren't a big deal. I've even seen people use a Wurmple (pokemon card) to represent wurm tokens.
