I am new to the trading system and need some help getting some trades off the ground. I initiated a trade with someone after we agreed on a reasonable trade. I added my cards, but they don't know how to add theirs. I was hoping for someone can hold our hands and get step by step instructions so this doesn't happen again. Thank you.
Just so i know that I am doing everything correct.
I can only add my cards to the trade deal? The person I would be trading with must add his own cards? Same question i know.
How do they add cards to the trade? They would have to go to their binder, select the pending trade, and input the card(s) from there. Is that correct?

Yes. Each person adds his or her own information.
As I said, each person has to go to the other person's binder to view a trade.

Just curious, but why do we have to go to the other person's binder to edit the trade? It's just inconvenient, especially on a phone, and I don't see the purpose.

I can see it as a last look at what the other person has, but usually the deal is finalized by this point. Its basically a final check type of deal to help prevent human error.

its helpful for other people to know what trades people have pending so as to somewhat inhibit scammers

I understand that, and trades should show up on both binders. But right now, if I want to edit a trade I have with another user, I have to go to that user's binder to edit the trade. I can view the trade in my own binder, but I can't actually edit until I go to their binder. It's just an extra step and it seems unnecessary.

You should be able to view the trade from the other person's binder.
