i really think that the site should give us the option to upgrade our account via sms, i don't know if it's profitable but having to use a paypal account is the only reason o haven't upgraded my account yet.. if anyone els agrees with me say something and maybe this idea might became real!

I am not that technologically oriented. I don't have a phone/ipad, just a laptop. Also, adding on to your idea about upgrading accounts: how about sending $5 worth of cards to whoever (looking at you yeaGO!), for those who don't have paypal (like me).

I'm not going to speak for yeaGO!, but one important thing to remember is the fact that it takes a lot of time and work putting together a site with as many features as this. I would have to assume advertisement revenue helps to cover some of the costs and time, but other than that I believe the only way that people like yeaGO! can afford to create these kinds of amazing sites are by donations. So think of the 5 dollars as that -- a donation. The best part? You actually get something out of it! You get more personalization options, chances to get more attention on your decks, etc. But the biggest point is that you're paying for the site.

$5.00 worth of MTG cards may be worth $5.00, but you can't use that to pay other people or to buy food, etc. Now, I don't know yeaGO! personally and haven't had the opportunity to speak with him very often so I don't know what sort of financial situation he lives in. Maybe he can afford to run this site without any sort of additional revenue -- I dont know. But at the end of the day, you're using a site for free. I feel like paying $5.00 is not only reasonable, but generous.

No hostility meant, Droxium. Not really writing this towards you. I just wanted to point out something that others possibly haven't yet thought of. You most likely already are aware of what I've mentioned.

@Spootyone, all of your point are valid. I was just trying to Brainstorm different ideas. I am aware of what you mentioned and i would've been fine if you said that directly to my face (would've been uncomfortable if your breath smelled bad...). I would be totally fine not paying $5, but maybe $6. I really love this site but I have no real way of upgrading (kind of frustrating) and there is no way that i will ask anybody. Actually, instead of mailing cards: how about mailing hard cash? Or am i just being to hopeful.

Lol. Don't worry. If I decide to speak to you directly I'll bring a mint :P

I can imagine not being able to upgrade when you're willing to is frustrating. Mailing cash is risky, but that's for yeaGO! to decide, obviously. There could also be many other reasons for choosing to only go through paypal that I'm not even aware of. Information for taxes or somthing? I'll go ahead and leave the rest of the discussion to yeaGO!, himself, since I'm already at my peak of knowledge/say-so on the subject. I hope it works out for you and that many more people are able to support the site!

I recommend upgrading regardless of the payment method.

that via sms that was talking about is used in many online games, such as paypal, thats the reason why i mentioned that, i know that the people here work very hard to keep this going, i was just trying to help, i believe that if that paying way was added many people would update their accounts as well
