Watching the Comment Stream Live?

Is there a way to watch the comments come in live without refreshing?
Im supposed to be studying Thermodynamics, but I am kinda doing that and this

I'm supposed to be working myself... Though you can find a timer extension for your browser that will automagically refresh a tab (I know chrome has one), just search for 'auto-refresh extension' in google.

There is one as part of the draft simulator.
As for a general chat service, i.r.c and mibbit are easy enough to do (outside of the domain of the web, but if integrated ... would be cool), if we really wanted one. But I know I couldn't do it, productivity would drop significantly and i'm trying to bring it back up at work.
