We NEED an EDH Deck Template

EDH is a popular and growing way to play magic, and I think it is quite fun. But I also think TappedOut needs a way to build an EDH deck. Well actually, I think you should be able to choose between EDH and a regular deck, and if you choose EDH it will bring you directly to a page of all the legendaries pooled together, and you get to choose one or advanced search for the commander of your choice.
I think what they mean is that they would like an EDH section. When you chose a commander it shows all the cards that would be legal for that commander.

I'm open to it. Is it just limited to colors of the commander? I don't know anything about EDH =/

Cards can only include colours on the commander's card. Even half-lands or triggered abilities that include a colour not on your commander can't be used.
I think zendikar half lands are all legal though. But I'm not 100% sure.

Woops... didn't know there already was one. I apologize.
Again, sorry.

Wait...
What I meant was it would automatically bring you to a page of commander-legal legendaries and you would pick one, then it would remove all of the cards that you couldn't use in the EDH deck and leave the ones you could for you to browse and possibly advanced search, then you would build your deck, and when it is finished, the legedary your commander was would say "Commander" instead of "Creature".
Wow. Am I just ranting?

The colors can also be in your general's text box, so you could have Bosh, Iron Golem leading a red EDH deck, and Memnarch heading up a blue.

Hmm that might be tough to automate at this tmie as the database doesn't track things at the activated ability color cost level. I wouldn't want to create a system that was incomplete and potentially excluded legends which you could actually use.

Can you flesh this out in a little more detail? Pretend I don't know anything about EDH =)
