Welcome Decks not listed as Standard-legal
TappedOut forum

Not sure if this is the place to bring this up, but it looks like tappedout is incorrectly identifying Welcome Deck 2016 cards as not standard-legal (e.g. Borderland Marauder & Soul of the Harvest)
Did I make a goof by not seeing the correct forum to request fixes?

Being printed in the Welcome Deck doesn't make them legal in Standard. The only sets currently legal are Dragons of Tarkir, Magic Origins, Battle for Zendikar, Oath of the Gatewatch, and Shadows over Innistrad.

I can't say I 100% understand what Welcome 2016 is, but the cards in it are definitely Standard legal for as long as SOI is legal. Gatherer confirms it.

They are standard legal. Gatherer is a better resource than third party websites or what people think they know.

Yes, those cards are legal in Standard. Tappedout doesn't always have correct legality rulings. If you're ever unsure if a card is legal in Standard (or any other official format) look up the card on gatherer.wizards.com.

Yeh, I was building a warrior deck (using gatherer as a reference) and was surprised to see Borderland Marauder show up in search queries.
Thought I'd bring it up on the forums in case an upgraded user would like to submit the change to legality for that set. I know I'd have been surprised if someone played Sphinx of Magosi against me at FNM, haha.
