What feature would you most like to see tappedout add?
TappedOut forum

Personally, I'd love to see some form of card pricing appear in the hover-over card name popup. Similar to TCGplayer or mtggoldfish etc.
Anything you guys find yourself wishing for?
(I'm not a programmer, I ave no idea how hard this stuff is to implement, and I'm thankful this site is as well set-up as it is - this is just a wish list)

Forgot to mention, it would be nice if you could link trades in the notifications, so that when "X has sent you a trade offer" shows up, you can click directly on it and go straight to the offer instead of having to derp around going to your binder and such.

We really need to prioritize an anti-necro feature. Even if it's just auto-locking Q&A threads 72 hours after answer selection. People will not stop posting in 1+ year-old Q&A threads, and we need to address that.

Also, I'd like to hear what you all think about the Deck Help forum. In my opinion, it has basically become deckcycling 2.0 and clogs the thread feed on the front page. But I'm at a loss for suggestions regarding how to address that.

I think the deck help forum can be very useful. I always appreciate the 'I am new to magic and this is my first deck posts' because I desperately want to help those people. You don't get that information from a deckcycle. The ability to allocate help to those that most need it is useful for me.

True, but the people that put "I want help on this deck." and the deck... I'm not against it, but it just seems like 90% of forum activity is deck help. Just look at the home page.

Yeah I really think there needs to be a lock on Q and A posts. It's less of a problem with forums but when people Google "what happens if I play this card and this card" the tappedout questions pop up pretty close to the top and people will comment without realizing that the question is two years old.

I'm not saying that the idea of a Deck Help forum is bad or that the forum has no purpose. I'm merely pointing out that most DH threads tend to be some useless text and a link (which often isn't even an active hyperlink) to a deck. Some people do take the time to write detailed posts that explain the context of the deck and the specific areas that need to be improved.
DH also takes up, at any given time, approximately 50% of the home page's thread feed.

As far as the Q&A goes, maybe a locked notice (like the kind that appears in locked threads) and a link to the ask-a-question page with a reminder that users can ask new questions.

Well, concerning the Q&A problem, why don't we have it like some of the other sites, where if someone gets the answer they were looking for, they can lock that answer as being what the answer they wanted was, and then no one else can reply on it. Like a "This question has been answered and can no longer be replied to." kind of thing. My take, anyways.

I don't even bother checking deck help anymore. I used to go and try to help the people who took the time to detail a legit post, but it's way too much work to wade through the poorly spelled, incorrectly linked, or "here's my deck go check it out" posts that I just don't do it anymore.

Runlue yeah sort of like the "this thread has been closed" like what yeago does when people piss him off enough?
April 21, 2015 5:47 p.m.
I go through it anyway once in a while. I love deck help.
April 21, 2015 5:48 p.m.
Ya, like that. Exactly like that....... Wait, yeago can do tha- eh, never mind, he's pretty much the equivalent of the Pope on this site, he can do anything.

yeaGO, if you're still following this thread, I would like to suggest some things for the playtesting 'app'. A discard button for your hand, a button to move your graveyard back into your library and a button to exile your entire graveyard.

Idk, Cyrrus. That seems like a lot of coding for something that's made pretty easy if you know the hotkeys. I can do that sort of stuff in just a couple of seconds.
