I was gone for a little over a month and my TO rank is showing that i dont have one yet. I was expecting it it to drop quite a bit during my absence but not disappear entirely. I think i was ranked in the high 80s or low 90s? crap. time to climb back on i guess.

Which is good, because it means that new users have a chance to get up there in a realistic fashion and not have to compete with Epoch level points.
And it only takes about a month to get within the top 100. Not that difficult.

Just be useful around the site and your rank will improve over time.

Commenting on threads, decks, giving the best answers to questions, and giving good card suggestions are the only ways I know of to increase your rank. Basically, what Epoc said above me.

I'm not even sure Q&A answers contribute (aside from counting as posts).
The only real "rule" is no shitposting. At least not constantly.

End example.
I'm really liking yeago's suggestion for a 5 minute window to edit posts. So many times where I realized that I could have put the 2nd post in the first one if I had just waited a little bit before hitting post as fast as possible.

It takes a while for it to actually start and appear.

I believe that your rank resets or drops significantly if you are inactive for two to three weeks.
