What is happening?

This site's speed is deteriorating, taking a dozen seconds just to transition between threads. But what's even worse is that I can't work on decks via 'board' ...

what deck are you experiencing this with?

There's also cards that don't show their price value anymore (e.g. Dragon Broodmother foil pre-release version), mostly foil cards.

As for the speed of the site, I first thought it was just personnal internet problems, but tryning from different spots, the site does seem to have slowed down.

I agree the site is really slow, especially with older (4-5+ years old) computers. Anyone know what's causing that? Syntax errors? Bad semantics? Or just so much data and so many users?

I think its 2 scripting errors. Over the network im seeing 20s just for a request to be processed. That and I think im seeing a testing console.log("b"). Just trying to submit a post request gave me a 504. WTF did this site update do?

I'm also seeing issues with the 'Description' section of the deck builder. After saving changes, the description section displays 'Description Generating' but it never actually completes.

True. I have visited the site, from three different devices (2 different PC's and a mobile phone) and there are MANY problems :(

October 26, 2017 6:53 p.m.

It's probably not helpful to reiterate what everyone else has mentioned but I will anyways to show how widespread the problems are. The website is extremely slow, you can't change deck quantities from the deck page (you have to manually click edit rather than being able to click the up or down arrow on the card quantity). And cards are not showing up in playtesting.

Let us know if there is anything we can do to help. I know you've got your hands full and I just want to say on behalf of all of us that we really appreciate your hard work on keeping this site amazing.

I'm having the same issues. The speed of the site has been soooooooooooooo slow the past week or so now and as of today a ton of the pics of cards in deck lists aren't showing up. The site is going so slow that you can't even guarantee that you'll get draft sim results loaded without the page crashing on you.

I don't know if they need to buy more bandwidth or what, because the site is becoming near unusable very quickly.

Sorry for a double post but figured I mention how the site literally crashed on me while posting the above comment. I'm running on 150+ mbps mind you.

The loading times when changing pages on the site is horrible atm.

Sometimes I wait for more than 20 sec before something actually happens.

FYI; it happens all over the place...

really? it seems incredibly fast to me now.

October 27, 2017 3:04 a.m.

As of 9:10 am EST the page still takes 1-6s to load but I guess it is better now. Some ads are still generating long load times and sometimes still failing (pubads takes 25.95 s and fails). It could also be due to traffic on the sight as I doubt many are on at 3am as compared to 7-8 pm but ill check back in when I notice slow request processing

Also, the deck I'm still having trouble with is this.
I would like to make it clear that this site is valuable to me, and I do not mean to complain. I get frustrated with responsiveness sometimes ;) <3

The site seems to be much faster now. I'm getting 4-5 second load times with adblock and 10-12 seconds without (ad loading taking about 6-8 s). Just yesterday I was experiencing 30-45 second load times with or without ads. Also seems to be fewer intrusive popups on the mobile version.

Speeds are definitely improved so that's awesome. However, lots of strange little anomalies remain. I've noticed a few decks with mislabeled cards that I can't change. For example, my Sliver Queen shows as foil and if I edit the deck to remove the foil tag, it stubbornly remains even after a deck save. I've noticed this for various cards in decks, pretty weird. Also, I added 3 cards to my binder last night...check out the 'Last Update' section :|

So yeah. Strange things are afoot! On a positive note, really liking the nice little aesthetic changes on the site. Definitely has a cleaner look.

Actually, just tried to remove the foil tag on Queen + save and it worked, no longer showing as foil. Certain set versions of cards are still incorrect (e.g. even though I have Cloudstone Curio tagged with (RAV), it shows as the Masterpiece version now).

Very minor nitpicks, however I like having the accurate card versions in decks as a true representation of what's there. Fussy, I know. Hopefully feedback like this helps a bit!

the load times I'm experiencing are crazy.... half the time my browser says it gave up on the connection because of how long it took. Even just deck cycling takes forever

Bezter says... #21

My load times have been much better today. Yesterday I had the site crash and give me the Ornithopters message at least 4 times, today it seems quicker than usual, which is great.

I suggest just shutting the site down for a day or however long you need to fix things (I noticed it was down earlier this morning, which is a good choice). Maybe that would help with confusion. Seems to be working well for me now!

Also the forum section is bugged out.
Instead of listing threads in a sub category, it shows the same thread multiple times, if there was a recent post in it.

Having issues with Spoiler boxes. Loading the deck page the boxes are already in the open state, not good for hiding spoilers, also not good if you have lists that you are trying to organize on the description area to save space.

October 27, 2017 8:37 p.m.

I dont know if its just me but I have slow loading speeds and occasionally getting 504 errors. Anyone else getting this all of a sudden?
