What's the deal with inconsistent border images on this site?

And/or how long does it take for card correction submissions to be reviewed?
I went through the first page or two of silver-bordered cards, cropped them all to the standard crop, and submitted them. I figured I'd wait for those to be approved before I continued with the rest. This was about... a year ago, now?
I suspected that maybe there was some unwillingness to change the silver-bordered ones specifically, but all the newer ones (Beast in Show) have their borders cropped out as normal.
So what's up, doc? I really don't like having a decklist on here with half of its cards having a visible border and the other half not.
Thanks, that all checks out.
So aside from the color identity field that I messed up, if I were to manually resubmit each of the cards correctly, they should go through this time?

Ye, if there's something incorrect about them I'll let you know.
I've been meaning to post an update indepth tutorial on the card submission form to take into account all situations but I keep getting distracted from completing it.

All the older images are magiccards.info images, and were mass-added to increase resolution of many of the past-user added images being really low quality. This was back in like, 2015/2016 or so, and applied to everything from Dark Ascension and later. So they all have that border, you just don't see it on the black border ones because it blends in with the overlay border.
The modern stuff were the largest official images we got from WotC, so to have a good crop of it for the X/Y ratio to be as closest to our card image overlay as possible so the text is as crisp as it could be (this is going to be 239/344). For unstable specifically I was not around during that time so that was the collective work of the community, which took from gatherer, which at the time are very small and definitely need as much cropped to make that text as legible as possible.
As for your past submissions they had incorrect changes on them (specifically the colour identity field says that it is for stuff not in the mana cost) and I just haven't had the time to manually do those changes myself, as there's always more important things to be doing (secret lair stuff, getting all the old basics in, getting all the old artwork variations in, getting all the gold border stuff in etc).
