I've been without the interwebs for awhile, thus am pleased that my involvement has yet produced such results. If only my decks didn't suck so much... ;-)

Huh? 25th? I'm surely not THAT active on here... most of the time it's me rambling on about something crazy or stupid or checking what people seem to think are good decks at the moment...
Been a while since i posted new decks or commented on someone else's deck though...

Yeah I'm personally content with where I am. I mean, I joined a little less than a year ago I think, and I've been around ranks 30-25 for about 3 months.

I only make like 5 posts a week but I lurk constantly and I occasionally will spend half a day posting here, but really its just average forum posting like any other site, if your half decent at posting on forums your points will reflect it.
WovenNebula is currently ranked 100 with a whopping 7250 points and i'd have to say 7250 is quite impressive, back when I first cracked into the top 100 i was at 6000 points, I'm glad to see the bar has been raised since then. (about 10months ago if you were wondering.)
I'm at rank 66 right now, not bad, i have yet to get past the 60's in general so I don't mind floating around here or even dipping back into the 70's, I mean really top hundo is top hundo, we're not splittin hairs here.
But you better believe it when I tell ya if I ever saw my rank dippin back into the 80's or even 90's I would just spend a week on here crankin up some points, I defs don't plan on leavin the top hundo for a while.

Can't imagine this is accurate, considering some of those have not been active in some time, though ranked highly and some of us ran certain article series for 2-3 years.

@Squire : all I did was go to a crap ton of users page and look at their T/O rank. So I would think it's pretty accurate...

I have always been surprised at my rank, considering all I really do on TO is playtest and leave a comment... sometimes join in a good debate. Maybe using the playtester secretly adds points?

So how does one acquire their ranking on Tapped Out? Is it how many decks they upload, comments on decks and forums, etc?

Pretty much, aeonstoremyliver. You also get higher ranked if you answer a lot of Q&A questions.

I got to my rank by just commenting on decks and posting/discussing in the forums. I've heard making good card recommendations boosts you up as well
