Why doesn't the way to link decks work?

If you go on my page, you will see a deck called Creating Beauty From Violence, but when I try to link it like [[Creating Beauty From Violence]], I get this message: "Errors No item found for 'Creating Beauty From Violence' ". Oddly, it works fine for all my other decks.

You must've had it named differently originally, the slug is my-reign-is-ageless

I have that problem with one of my decks too. The solution is to use the decks "slug" name.

The slug is the deck name found in the url, typically, everything after the second to last forward slash.

Changing the name of the deck doesn't affect it. The deck I have, it's slug matches the name of the deck, it however doesn't work unless I use the slug.

Check the formatting guide.

Autolinking relies on the slug name of the deck. Always use the slug to ensure accuracy.

Oh well it used to do that approximately two weeks ago.

So I guess my question is different now.

Why doesn't changing the deck name change the deck slug anymore?

I believe it usually does, may just take a little while or something, I'm not sure..

That's what I thought when I renamed it two days ago or so

I believe slugs are (now) static. You have the option to regenerate the slug. Check the tools on the left of your deck page.

I don't think any of those do that, right?

Sorry, it's in the editing screen. It's a checkbox just above the card fields.

I believe it's under Edit, the last item in the list of options that include Private, Prototype, etc. Check the box and hit save and it'll reset your slug to reflect the current name :)

Awesome! That worked like a multicolored spell with a mode for each of its colors (a charm)! I guess it's time for old dogs to learn new tricks... xD
