Why hasn't anyone brought this up before?

So I was thinking, and I asked myself the question I'm about to ask the community... Why aren't you just automatically subscribed to your binder and userpage? I know that when I first joined, like a year ago (so maybe this has changed and I don't know about it), I didn't know to subscribe to them until I was told to by another user. Can we just have each user be automatically subscribed to these places? I don't want to have to keep linking people to their binders in case they're not subscribed...
